I don't get it, everytime I see Yao Ming in clear position in the low-block or even deep in, All I see is Aaron Brooks swing it to some other player.

Is Aaron Brooks secretly working for Dwight Howard or something?

Seriously, Every single time I see Yao Ming in great position to score, I just see Aaron pass it to someone else, It seems like Yao Ming is the last person Aaron wants to pass it too....

That's exactly why I like Alston as the starting PG more because he is much more mature and he actually knows what he is doing and how to pass. Is it a racism?

Maybe he's undersized as opposed to his defender, that leads to the problem that he couldn't feed Yao the ball directly like T-Mac,Shane and Ron did.Just my thought.

Strange, How he's not willing to give the ball to the best center in the game, but he's willing to get himself blocked 5 times by driving in instead.

He did pass it to Yao, most of the time bounce pass. Maybe you didn't watch closely but he did pass it and in one play he got the ball back like Yao/luther easy baseline pass of play.

Racism dog? Really? Perhaps he's undersized and still learning how to make the entry pass to Yao who always has 2 defenders on him. In addition, he is not a true point guard like Rafer.

Maybe he doesn't want his turnovers to go up.

I know that, but there were many times in the game and in past games that he just didn't pass it to him.

All said and done, He's probably passed it to Yao about 3 times out of 15 times

He's pretty much missed a lot of chances, which in many cases lead to loses.

um, maybe b/c he's pretty short and he's not that good of a post passer.

our best post passer is tracy, then battier.

but man, are you on a new thread spree? all of these things can be posted in the game thread.

In the two games Brooks has started since Alston went down, Yao has 30+ points each game.

The answer is that McGrady is a better post passer. Also, AB0 does pass it to Yao.

Actually, AB's passing skill is improving. Before, he passed the ball too low. Today, I saw he made a couple of good pass to Yao.

In addition, today Yao had 4 AST, and two of them were for AB. If AB replaced Rafer for the whole season, Yao's AST average would over 3!

You'd rather have Yao Ming be a point-center? lol.

Anyways, Aaron Brooks is a very poor passer and Yes I did realize that the 2 games Rafer has been passing, Yao has scored 30+ points.

I do believe T-Mac is the best passer on his team for the simple fact that he is the most patient with Yao Ming in the post. Rafer is somewhat patient but It's clear T-mac is much more willing to have Yao Ming score.

he isn't a good post passer,so he isn't very confident about that.

my problem with him is that every time he passes to yao, he uses the bounce pass. That's very dangerous cuz yao is so tall and a low bounce pass can easily be fumbled or picked off.

maybe its not part of the play? usually the players passing to yao are at the wing, and brooks is usually at the top

You guys are putting bad excuses about him being 6'0. I'm sure Iverson would be capable of passing it to him, same for Nate even though he stuffed him.

But again, Aaron passes it to him but how many times does he pass it to him out of how many chances he gets to pass it to him?

He has like 20 chances per game to pass it to him, and he chooses to pass it to him 3 times?

    3/20? Not a good ratio

Why is that funny?! Yao is always doubled. He needs to be a good passer.

Man, it's so simple just use your brain. Aaron Brooks is a score first type of point guard. Stop bringing up stupid reasons like racism. Yao scored 30 points and you're still whinning.

And there is doubt in my mind he is a good passer, but I'd rather have a PG being able to set up not just Yao Ming, but Artest and McGrady.

That would be Rafer Alston's job.
