Don't worry, I got the flame suit on. Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7. But seriously, I'm not saying i love the guy, but I feel like, reading posts, the majority of clutchfans has this personal hate for him that burns inside, which I don't have. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want him anymore either, and I wasn't his biggest fan his last couple of years, but I never hated him. So when I see some of the, "yes! He can't find a team, he deserves to have his career end like this! I hate him!" I don't understand, I mean he didn't pull a lebron and quit on us, he couldn't help it, he was injured ( yea we hear it a lot, but that's what happened) I mean when he played with us, everytime he had a good game, good plays, you would be riding and praising this guy, and now, when he's gone, everything he does and everything that goes on in his life you have something negative and hate to say about it. But when he was here, you loved him. Just let him be, I mean he gave us his prime. Was there something in the trading process that I missed other than injuries? Something personal with the front office or players like with Orlando? Something that major that you burn with hate. And the whole "no heart" thing.. is it cause he was injured? Whats more heart than "this playoff series is on me"?? Like i said I'm not praising him, I'm just trying to figure out what he did for you to hate him this much. It's almost like one person started the tmac hate trend after he left and everybody just started mindlessly following with it for no reason. So, I think it's about time for this QnA.. Whats your real problem with tmac? (Let me restate the q, not what's your prob with me, I'm just the thread maker asking the question, although I know ill get some hate , but whats your problem with tmac?)
I have always been a fan of his and still will be but he really pissed me off when he went in and out of the lineup and messed up our chemistry during the season 2 years ago. I truely believe if he had just sat out the whole year, we would have had a higher seed and would not have met the Lakers until the WCF. Also the fact that he messed up a couple of trade opportunities for us when he conviently announced microfracture surgery right before the deadline.
What magazine is he reading, LOL. I think it looks live Vogue or something. His ass should be reading King, XXL or Slam magazine.
Why do people love things and hate things? Because they can and because they care. For example, why is your screenname "effTheJazz"? I'm pretty sure you have good reasons to justify it. Probably because the Jazz team disappointed your expectations for some other team, namely the Rockets. It's not like the Jazz team didn't work hard for their success, but you just hate them, don't you? The same rule applies to the T-Mac situation.
Maybe he's just pretending like he's reading ... when he's really just waiting for Chuck to leave. Look at him... he's got a big ol bottle of lotion, lube and a j*zz rag all ready to go.
I was fine with him until his in-and-out nonsense and false promises that year when we had a legitimate chance to win it all. We had the role players, we had our 3rd scorer that we were desperately lacking, but he wouldn't rehab properly in the offseason and never put in the work to get back healthy for a championship run...yet he claimed to be a "fierce Tmac" that season.
I really never hated Mcgrady, I actually liked the guy. He was one of my favorite players even when he was in Orlando. So I was estatic when the Rockets got him. I guess the thing is with T-mac is you either like him or dont. I feel that he gave some of his best years here in Houston, too bad injuries derailed him. So its not fair to say you "hate" the guy just because of injuries.
I never disliked McGrady, but the longer he was with the Rockets the more I began to recognize him, at times, as kind of a disingenuous boor. There was a lot I liked about him as a player, but sometimes he'd say or do things that just caused me to shake my head. I don't think he was (or is) a bad guy, but he had a certain talent for consistently putting his foot in his mouth while seemingly remaining blissfully unaware of ever doing so. That being said, there are a lot worse people around than T-Mac. I personally think he got a lot more hate/dislike/anger directed toward him than he ever deserved.
Tmac is my all time favorite player!! I hate how he constanly gets blasted on here!! But he really isn't helping himself out right now!! It's gonna be a very sad ending to his career I think!!
