    When he finish with 23/10?

Aside from a dominant game yao ming, both scola and landry have a good game tonight but when i read the game thread i saw that a lot of people was bashing scola and calling him scrubola. please give our PFs some credit guys, they've been nothing but pure production for this team.

this is very similar to the jazz series last yr. he did good, but could do better IF HE JUST KNOWS HOW TO DUNK THE DAMN BALL. he misses so many layups.

had he finish his shots better, he probably would shoot 10-15 for those 23 pts, not 10-21.

Thats just how some people on here are. If its not McGrady is Head if not them then Alston. I just wonder when they will start with Artest.

Anyone bashing Scola around here are just noobs. Scola is a hustler, I love watching him play. Lay off the dunks and recognize talent when you see it.

    He takes too many shots.

23/10 is nice, but look at Yao's stats. 11-13

Yao should be taking those extra shots Scola threw up.

But he is still 49% FG on the year, 3rd on the team. He can't jump that high. That is not his fault.

I think people who bash Scola also tend to bash Yao for the same reason. These are the people who think that flashiness means you're a good player. Scola is one of the most skilled power forwards out there. He's not athletic, but he is one wily player. Having him and Landry for 3 mil apiece is a real steal and we should feel fortunate.

I never understand whan the hell people mean by knowing to dunk the ball.
You either have athletic ability or not , Scola can't dunk , It's like saying if only Yao could learn to run faster.

This board's ability to find something to complaint about amazes me.

Scola takes quality shots and hustles. So what if he's taking shots that could be Yao's, this is a team game dammit!!

People wouldn't be complaining about Scola's shot attempts if he made more. He just has to find a way to get more efficient and draw fouls. With Yao occupying the interior defense, the PF will have plenty of opportunities, and they have to convert.

The reason why he is not putting +20 points per night is when the team plays selfishly and doesn't move the ball around. Scola is perfectly capable of putting +20 per night if he were the 2nd option.

I think Artest coming off the bench gives Scola more opportunities to score as suppose to having 4 scorers on the floor

    Yao, Scola, Artest, Tmac.

I'll credit him for what he did tonight,he stepped up when our offense seemed not good and the ball movement stuck, hitting some big shots:)

you're right. that's why we struggled so much to start the season is b/c artest was in the starting lineup with yao, tracy, AND scola.

we saw tonight that when artest plays with the 2nd unit, he looks to have more freedom and thus has shot better the past 2 games that he has come off the bench. he's our ginobili.

scola should average 15 ppg with this team. if he does the pick and roll or screen with tracy, he always gets open 12-13 ft jumpers. if teams double/front yao, he always gets layups. he's a perfect fit with tracy and yao.

That will take some more time. As skilled as he is,one has to realize that he hasn't learned the tricks of the NBA game. His lack of athleticism does hurt him as well.
