Because Chucky Hayes is a foul machine on par with Swift

    Padgett cant play basketball watsoever

Juwan is a really good backup at 4 and we should all appreciate the fact that he is on the team

Even though his contract is bad...we dont really have a choice right now

Because his mig-range jumper is still good....which killed the Wiz tonight and mide up for that stupid 4 point play
i wonder what the Wiz-fans were thinking when they saw that mid-rang J going "nothing-but-net"....

he played well the past 4 or 5 games

    I mentioned it few times,

he did cause the three point foul and tech, but still managed to make it up

he is doing what he does best...each game he can only get better

with mac out, I hope we can work out something with Bonzi

Juwon is my least favorite PF on the team, but hes smart enough to realize that he was coming off the bench and the only thing that would give him more minutes is rebounding. Over the last couple of games out rebounding from the 4 spot has been great, hayes gives you his best when hes not in fould trouble, then howard comes off the bench and competes with the starters, its been a good few rebounding games for our PF's.

every since the cavs games juwan has played very well as a backup PF. i am actually really happy with his play on the boards, defensively and offensively. Now if we can somehow to convince him to give back all that money then we're all set.

he does quite a bit for this team it sucks about his contract, but for now unless we can trade him for someone who can improve on juwans output i dont want to get "rid" of him.

i mean it wasnt the rockets who gave him that contract

Juwan would be fine if he stops thinking he has a jumpshot. That thing is uglier than Eddie Griffin's 3-point shot was.

We all know Juwan can't be relied upon to produce for prolonged periods. If he plays 25-30 mins for too many games he will burn out like a candle. I'm fed up with Chuck.

BTW, nice game Juwan. The clutch jumper was priceless. It would have been heartbreaking to lose this game.

okay, i'll admit it. Juwan might be slightly better than the category of emu dung. I was somewhat wrong.

Just make sure you don't take out battier fighting for the rebounds juwan.

Basically, we need Juwan because the other options suck even more. :)

I have to give him credit for rebounding decently, though.

he just needs to stop shooting so much when he is in...

and not letting his guy beat him... even if that means taking a foul...

I think coming off the bench has made him into a better player... knowing he will only get like 5 to 10 minutes a game... so he has to go all out...

good grief... get off chuckies back.... who cares if he fouled out...

he protects our other guys... is a energy guy and gets rebounds...

what do we want a guy who is going to take 10 shots away from Tmac and Yao a game?

Juwan has been EXCELLENT off the bench, and a superb example in the lockerroom. Ironically, this could be the most useful he's been in his entire career.

I'm extremely impressed with him. So what he's not shooting well? He's getting LOTS of rebounds, playing tougher, and passing better. We all know he can score, so as long as he's a threat the defense respects, he's great.

It's nice ot have inside (Chuck), mid-range (Juwan) and outside (Novak/Battier/Padgett) threats at PF. Lots of options for Yao.

Think about it this way: we're kicking teams asses on the boards because our 4 bigs (Yao, Deke, Howard, Hayes) are all among the best rebounders per minute in the league. Hayes and Deke must be top 5, while Howard and Yao are definitely in the above average category. Great job.

This year for Chuck is really equivalent to last year for Luther - lots of learning and a rookie wall. Remember Chuck did not play that many minutes, nor play consistently from game to game last season. So as others have said in the past - teams are now developing a scouting report on the guy with a top of the league +/- and adjusting to him. The refs treat him like a rookie - never a benefit of the doubt for him, plus he does need to continue to improve on reducing the stupid fouls.

I am sure he is being coached on his techniques and by mid season I would expect him to be fouling less and thus getting more minutes.

But turning on him now makes less sense than complaining about Juwan's past performance which has been consistently bad.

BUT I must admit Juwan has been playing much better lately. The jump shot is still a little flat more often than I would like, but he has been rebounding great. Maybe he has been watching tape on Hayes and learning? If Juwan could consistently get a good arc on his shots he would be much better.

I don't really know why people hate our best, or 2nd best, PF so much. I mean he's not that good, but he's not the worst PF ever either, he looks bad going against Duncan and Garnett and Gasol and Nowitzki, but who doesn't. The only thing I could think of was that he's overpaid. But we have to remember that we didn't sign him to his current deal, we had to take his contract in order to acquire Tmac. So it's really not his fault. I guess Juwan is just really easy to hate.

    hehe
if you add up our PF's total salaray and production, that's not too bad right now
at least not as bad as it is in Phili
but if the salary of Juwan and Chuck is more even, like 3 or 3.5 mil each, then we are in a better situation

i'm glad he is actually trying to earn his playing time now. i see him trying now. i think as a starter he took things for granted. i just wish he would stop shooting that little hook shot until he is consistent with it in practice.
