Hillary is only for Hillary...I understand she wants to win, but with the negative ads she is tearing the party apart and making this about women vs. men........fell right into the republican trap!

Obamma is the only one saying he want to bring everybody together no matter what race, religon, party, or gender.

How would people feel if obamma said this is a great day for African Americans...instead of saying this is a great day for the American people.

This kind of stuffing is keeping our country divided!

I'd feel great if he had the balls to come out and say that. He should acknowledge his main artery of support. I'm not sure why he refuses to do so...

Because he's trying not to play the race card? Because it would alienate a good part of his base? Because he doesn't want to win because he's black?

I can think of many reasons why he doesn't, and shouldn't, play the race card.

Just like i think it's poor taste to play the race card, I feel it's in poor taste to play the gender card as well.If obama did this he would get killed in the media and they would label him as a behind closed door racist.I don't think you should play the gender card just to get the women vote.

Ha. It's the Obama cult freak, Clinton hating two-faced weenie Dem who is tearing things apart.

Ridiculous post, pgabs. This is the opposite of racism. What's racist is you jumping, no LEAPING, to the race card to defend yourself and your candidate.

why does he need to confirm or refute where his votes come from, why is that an issue to you. the guy leads the popular vote in the democratic primary, are you saying that's based on the overwhelming black majority?

the only issue with his base is from you, texxx, and wnes

Its pretty obvious Obama wins the overwhelming black majority mainly because he is *gasp* black. Just like a Hispanic candidate should do well with Hispanic voters. What's wrong with admitting that fact? and I don't see anything wrong with women voting for Hillary.

admit to what? people are free to vote how they feel, its a none issue. do candidates routinely "admit" who their base is?

The bottom line is that Obama just needs to come clean here.

As much as I may disagree with some posters on different issues, I don't think there is issue with them for African Americans voting for Obama. The issue is with not admitting it, and spinning it some other way. The nice way put it is, that is a proud vote; and a more objective way to put it is, that's a race vote. That's the way it is, and I don't see anything wrong with it. Why shouldn't be one more comfortable with people of same race? What I have issue with is, the way media is trying so hard to shove down everyone's throat how Obama is above race. You get such example every single day. Last night, when they broke down demographics in Ohio in CNN, they broke down Hispanic voters, and broke down white male and white females. Guess what, they didn't mention the percentage of black voters, why? Because Obama is above race? Whenever they broke down white voters, their interpretation of Obama wins a good percentage among them, so he's crossing race, but no one wants to ask about gender.

Again, I don't see anything wrong with 90% African Americans to vote for Obama, but I find comic people spin that as voting for issues.

I said hillary saying she should be elected because its time for a woman president is what needs to be questioned. I don't give a **** about why her voters vote for her. that's their right, just like people who vote for obama, mccain, huckabee. I'm sure their are people who believe huckabee was chosen by God. is it their right to vote for him because that's how they feel, yes.

its a non issue, you republicans need to make up issues to cling to and form these silly arguments.

again why does he need to address this, if you don't have an answer, please move on
