    I'm curious. Why do some people on this message board end their post with their username or an abbreviation of it?

    I can see your username on the side just like everyone else's. Is it an ego thing? Is it just a weird obsessive compulsive problem?

    Seriously...why?

    lol i don't get it either. it's definitely an ego thing. what other reason is there to post your name after your comments? only the "cool kids" get to do that. :(

    Not quite as annoying as the song lyrics posts, but close.

    Rocket River gets a free pass on this one though because he was the original poster that started doing it. Everyone else copied him and should be ashamed of their actions.

    What's more confusing, is when people quote incorrectly or change the quoted person's username or their own signature. :D

    There's a guy on another message board I read who not only puts his name at the bottom (and this is a board that requires people to use their real names), but also puts the city where he lives.

    I thought that was a little silly.
