Hey guys, Would you pick Dan Langhi over Chris Carrawell? I personally think he would have gave us the wing player that we are looking for. He also comes from a solid program and i think he would give us some quality minutes. . .while langhi won't be given that many minutes. . . Just think, PF is kinda crowded now. . . Kenny Thomas Matt Bullard Jason Collier Carlos Rogers Pig Miller Tony Massenburg while at SF we just have Walt Williams Shannon Anderson at times Matt Bullard at times Devin Gray. . . HELLO???? we should have gone with Chris Carrawell. . . would have been nice too have at least 3 slasher/athletic guys on the court at all times. . . Francis, Anderson, Mobely, Carrawell Let me know what ya'll think. ------------------
Because Rudy T and Co. felt at 6'6'', he was more of a guard, of which we have plenty. ------------------ Just because you're white and play basketball doesn't mean you're a Matt Bullard clone, despite idiotic accusations to the contrary. visit www.swirve.com
Langhi's a SF. Bullard doesn't play PF. I've never seen him post up in my life. Miller hardly plays. Massenburg may not be with us next year. All of the PFs mentioned are mediocre or worse. ------------------ The more lefties on your team, the better. Collier is Seven Foot and Left Handed. How can you go wrong? Trade or bench Kenny Thomas.

Dang Pole, this guy Myktek has one freaking post way back in June, with only two responses to it, and you remember it enough to bring it back now? Wow! And I thought I was a CC.Net addict! ------------------ Save our children from the TAAS test: TAAS test report card TAAS test fact sheet
to be honest, this was the thread I was really looking for: http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/Forum3/HTML/006914.html ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
Ok, at least DaDakota is a respectable poster. But still, I have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast last week (the 80's were good to me, or so I have been told ) To bring up 5 months old threads about obscure second round picks of other teams? I worry about you Pole. You've been living near Toxic City too long! ------------------ Save our children from the TAAS test: TAAS test report card TAAS test fact sheet
Well we can get him now since the spurs waived him. ------------------ "You look a team that's been to the mountaintop like the Houston Rockets, I'm going to put pressure on myself to be the best possible player that I can be. With the pieces they already have in place and myself, we can do some amazing things next season." Maurice Taylor
I don't know exactly whay I think here... Argument for Carawell: (1) He can play three spots. (2) A does it all player because he can shoot, slash, rebound, pass, play defense and has real basketball intelligence. (3) Comes from a solid program out of Duke. Argument for Langhi: (1) He's 6'11" amd will match up better with opposing sf. (2) Can shoot and get to the hole well. I hate to sat it, but I think that I'd rather have Carawell. Even if he is shorter than what is typically desired froma small forward at 6'6" (he isn't 6'5"), he is only one inch shorter than Mullin, Pippen and other once great small forwards. But I think that Langhi will surpise enough naysayers to prove his worth-especially as a second rounder. Don't forget that Langhi put up better numbers than Stromile Swift in college. Poll time. Do your homework on Langhi and Carrawell and make YOUR choice. One more time: Langhi is a Rocket and he WILL surprise many doubters. ------------------ Vice-president of the Jason Collier Police
Yeah, I'll be suprised if he ever has an impact on the game this season! Thus far he looks totally lost out there. For a guy that is 6'11", he is playing like he is 4'11". I hate to say it, but Collier is looking 5 times better than Langhi. ------------------ GO YANKEES!!! KICK SOME METS A$$!!! 5 GAMES BABY!!
RocketsPimp, Langhi hasn't played much, but you're right about Collier showing more to the limited extent that he has had more opportunities than Langhi to do so. But what about Carawell? Would you rather have him or Langhi? That was my question... ------------------ Vice-president of the Jason Collier Police
I would rather Carawell anyday. He will be a decent player if he gets the chance. He would really thrive in an offense like the Rockets.
