For god sakes, why in the world was Lowry in the damn game when he hasn't played in a week and is 2-12?

Smith is a better dribbler than Lowry
Smith is a better passer than Lowry
Smith is a better shooter than Lowry
Smith doesn't make stupid plays like Lowry

Smith was freakin amazing tonight, and Adelman rewarded him by benching his ass? This loss is on Adelman.

Lowry sucked all game and yet he plays down the stretch over a guy who was playing good.

Rick can't even use the Ish can't shoot and we needed a shooter excuse because Lowry can't shoot his damn self. Hell Ish made 2 3's tonight.

I am starting to agree with DD.

The coaching staff needs to be looked at...

Battier has got to go. Chuck should not be playing.

    We need help.

Why didn't Jordan Hill play either? Makes no sense. Chuck Hayes SHOULD never play center.

Probably the most mind boggling decision Rick has made since arriving...I would understand if Lowry was healthy and could "D" up Wall but it was obvious he isn't.

Vets not matter who badly are playing will have a priority over the rookies for Adelman.

I wished Lowry wouldn't have played today so Adelman was force to play the better player right now.

the problem is adelman is running his "defensive lineup" to finish out the game with hayes, lowry, and battier. And Guess what? our defense still sucks. Can't make a stop, can't make a rebound game over. If this team goes 2-10 I truly think he needs to go. The coach is always the first thing to go and that's how it always works.

You are basing this off of this game when Lowry clearly isn't 100%? Ish should have been in for Lowry cause he is coming back from back spasms but you are overrating again.

Lowry's on the court but isn't contributing. If his back doesn't allow him to be a 5-9 Bonzi Wells and with Brooks also out the Rockets need to make a change or changes with personnel at that position.

What the heck are you talking about? I thought with AB out we had instant chemistry?

AB spaces the floor beautifully and scores in bunches. WE NEED THAT. A mix of AB and Ish will do the trick. We're getting there.

if lowry had "back spasms, lay in bed all day, rusty" why was he jacking up 3's. Dude is trash and overpaid like I said before. It was just that rafer was that terrible.

Okay maybe Lowry is a better shooter than Smith on most days. But I am CERTAIN Smith is a better passer, dribbler, and play-maker than Lowry is.

Where are all the people that wanted Lowry starting over Brooks?

In some ways I agree with coach picking Lowry:
This is Ish's first rodeo and to ask him to take control with little time left is a big task. In general, Lowry has shown he can score in a pinch and that he can stabilize the team. Lowry is the most senior Rocket PG, and the organization as a whole has confidence in his abilities. There's a reason why we resigned him for so much.

    In contrast:
Ish was just on. Ish creates for the rest of the team and adds a factor that the Wizards scouting report may not take into account. Ish adds a level of variability and might have been the factor in winning.

In the end, the Rockets went about 4 minutes without scoring, they took the lead at 85 and just fell asleep. This isn't really Rick's fault. Like I said, when this team has the lead and/or there's less than 5 minutes left in the game nobody wants the ball and nobody wants the shot...

    We can haz Steve NAsh?

Oh no, it is definitely Rick's fault. There is no reason to have Hayes, Lowry, and Battier out there at the same time when you are trying to make a comeback. At least take out Hayes and Lowry for Hill and Ish. Battier could probably stay, but even then he could have put in Lee.

If Ish had played and had the same result. His confidence could have been dented especially for a rookie. Adelman knows right now Ish is the only healthy PG he can rely on. He said yesterday without Brooks or Lowry, Ish will play "38 to 40 minutes" at PG with Lee playing the rest.
