It posts the thread when you go to actually make the poll, then tacks on the poll after the thread starter has submitted the options.

According to his interview during the game, it's close to a bone on bone situation. That is a bad thing that ends careers. I think they will IR him and ask him to have another surgery.

    Wednesday's Houston Chronicle:

Davis' sore left knee is not related to the arthroscopic surgery he underwent in December to remove part of his lateral meniscus. He missed five games last season because of the knee injury and finished with 974 yards rushing, costing him a third consecutive 1,000-yard season.

"It doesn't matter if I'm here or somewhere else; I still have to get my knee better," Davis, 25, said. "It's just not right at the moment. It hurts, and it's something I have to live with.

Seems to me like maybe he wants out. Kubiak runs a system with multiple RB's, and maybe Davis wants to be "the man". I'm not sure he can do that under Kubiak....

I think he's too busy chasing down a pesky armadillo.

Which raises another question, who would win a race an Armadillo wounded by Dada's pellet gun or Dominic Davis. My money is on the Armadillo.

I remember reading somewhere that he had a bone bruise, and if that is infact the case - they suck. I has one in my ankle last year and my doc said I would have been better off breaking it. It took 3 months to be able to run at all and another 2-3 months before I played without thinking about it at all. I think DD might be done for the year.

There's no surgery that restores cartilage. None.

Actually there is, COOL LINK ....it is a fairly recent proceedure, where they take a small bit out of your knee, and then grow more cartlidge in a labratory, then they open up your knee and insert the new cartlidge inside and sew it in place.

One of my good friends just had it done and after YEARS of knee pain, he is pain free.

That's really interesting - has it been used in sports medicine though?

i've never been a DD fan, i thought his stats were inflated b/c we always made a point to get him the ball more then even AJ. personally, I hope kubiak gets rid of him, just my 2 cents, i'm quite comfortable w/ Lundy, Morency and Taylor. those guys just need to work on there pass protection and we'll be ok.

Not sure about that yet.......but still kind of cool. I wonder why Bagwell has not done it for his shoulder.

My dad just had one of his knees replaced, he said it was REALLY painful.

If he is really hurt, he need to go on the PUTP, which I think means he can't come back until week 6, but then why waive ASmith...

As I understand it, he has a bone bruise which is not related to the surgery.

    Anyone else hear anything different?
