    Why did Putin agree to the prisoners swap?




    According to former Ambassador to Russia, Michael McCaul, while Putin doesn't care about Trump, he cares very much about KGB thugs, in particular, Vadim Krasikov [​IMG], a convicted Russian assassin, who had been serving a life sentence in Germany for the 2019 murder of a Chechen dissident in a Berlin park.

    McCaul speculates that Putin believes that even if Trump become POTUS, Putin's useful idiot will not be able to get Germany to free Krasikov
