Always has to be someone wanting to question every move JVG makes...

We did win and it was a great win. But I have to admit, I was thinking the exact same thing. When Stro came in the first time we were down by 10 and then we came back and tied. When he came in again late 3rd or early 4th we were down and came back to take the lead for good. Then we came out of the timeout without Stro and it shocked me. He did play good, and I thought should have stayed in, but like DD said we won!! Go Rocks!!

JVG parted his hair to the right for the game. Why doesn't he do that every time because, when he does, we win!

no its a legit question i never ask but just think had we lost, ppl would be like "well stro was playin good why we take him and brunson out,it was working..." but i am glad we won,i was just wondering why, plain and simple.

It's legit but it'd would have be more pertinent if we had lost, actually if we had lost our turnovers and horrid shooting on the FT line and from the field would have been a bigger culprit but I digress. Also, it seems a bit excessive to start a whole thread about that subject when that could probably had just been discussed in the game thread.

Plain and simple? Because JVG knew it would lead us to victory ...and he was right. ;)

Yes, this conversation should be in the game thread.

It was quite simple - Stro was tired at that point of the game. Wehn Juwan came in for him the defensive intensity did not go down at the PF spot either.

You just commited a logical fallacy by surgesting that giving him more minutes will likely reduce his boneheaded plays and "he will be good". That makes little to no sense since Stro is not a rookie - he has been arround the blocks and more minutes will not necessarily raise his BB IQ especially when he is laying tired. For now he is doing great in his role and I am confident that coach is using him perfectly or at least close to it.

Also, maybe his injury is not 100% healed yet.

Stro is good at certain things. JVG should just use stro for what he is good at and leave at that. Look at the Sun's coach, he play his players to their strength. We wouldn't have never know that Eddie House and Raja Bell would have been a dang good shooters. Take a more positive approach. As for as Stro's potential, I think we've seen it.

whatever JVG did was the right thing to do because we came from behind to win a close game.

He may have reaggrevated it on the attempted ally-oop from Head. He came up limping. He also missed some free throws down the stretch and Min tried to turn the last 2 minutes into a free throw contest.
