Why couldn't our jerseys be simple like the chinese national team ones

eww.... red and black is fine for me. and ours is pretty simple.

 

Why yellow? I prefer the black and red combination.

I hate the shoulder cut of the current jerseys. The shoulder area is too wide and those red stripes that are sewn on make the edges curl up. I don't particularly care for the look of the stripes either.

I totally agree that we should simplify the jerseys and get a more standard cut.

 

Thats my main gripe about the jersey along with the material which is down right horrible. The Rockets look like some cross between power rangers and space men.... The cut of the jersey looks totally tacky. It looks horrible on most of the players. The only two cuts that should be considered are the classic and the current Laker style cuts.

Why did they change from the original championship era jerseys is still an unsolved mystery and one of the dumbest moves this organization has ever made.

 

that jersey has the right mix of class and flair... IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE A BASKETBALL JERSEY(something that cannot be said about the current jersey)

 

i agree....i have been begging they change the uniforms for some time now. The rocket organization has done a great job of ignoring this request

 

sorry for the double post but if anyone has any photo-shop skills, can they make a depiction of how this jersey would look like with the current Laker cut.

 

unfortunately not enough people care for the Organization to take action...

however Houstonians are blessed with a lot of sports talk radio stations... If enough people voice there opinion on the crappy jerseys eventually someone in the club will hear us out.

And wouldn't it benefit the league and the club? New jerseys = New jersey sales???? RIGHT??? Imagine all the fans in China buying new Yao and T-mac jerseys. Im sure that will draw in some revenue.

I couldn't find the right comparison to make but I think you nailed it. Power rangers/alien space suits pretty much sums it up.

There have been much uglier colors and logos on NBA jerseys over the past several decades but I honestly think the cut and design of the current Rockets jerseys are the worst ever.

 

I really do hope that the right group of people realizes sooner than later that these jersey cuts are a joke.

 

I think we are on the same wave length here. The Lakers cut with something similar to that jersey would be much sweeter than the current costumes.

 

If you made a poll, I am pretty sure that 95% of this board would tell you that these are the best jerseys (assuming we are excluding the original championship ones). No idea why whoever is in charge of this sort of thing for the Rockets doesn't have a clue.

 

the USA jersey and the Chinese jersey are the exact same patterns as each other.

I dont understand why everyone cries about our jerseys so much. You'd think they were still the pajama pinstriped ones the way everyone complains on here about them...

 

IF the Rockets decide to make it look like China's jersey I'm all good! I love the graphics that China put into the Jerseys
