I don't dislike Cato...he's a good guy. But take a look at Robert Horry. Unbelievable physical talent, too lackadaisical on the court. I think he knows the heat he will be under this year and I hope he accepts the challenge. The center position will play a huge role on whether or not the Rockets will make the playoffs and advance.
Dude, I don't think your putting enough emphasis in your post. All caps has become so cliche. Cato is a one of the keys for the year. If he plays, the rockets will be okay. With all his "injuries", the rockets could be in for a hurt'n. My Cato prediction for healthy games 12 ppg 8 rpg 2.8 bpg 4.5 fpg I think Francis can carry the team to the second round with a center that does this and plays man to man defense that Cato has shown when "healthy". BTW, Marc Jackson would be a good compliment for Cato.
The reason people hate the all caps entry is simply for the fact that it's hard to read. As for Cato, we would all love to feast on crow if Cato would perform at a level matching his capabilities. I'll even volunteer to pluck the feathers and stuff the crow.
Cato is the man..... & I am the fan of any one who can grab a good deal from a good team just by one pre-season game against the Cav's. Long live the American Dream!!! Ride the pine & take what's mine
I didn't see "his lacksadaisical attitude and apparent lack of work ethic" as one of the choices. I'm rooting for the guy, I'm just doubtful he will be a good player. I htink he could be, and I hope he proves me wrong.
Cato is bound for stardom. With his work ethic, the sky is the limit. No center has the shooting touch of a Kelvin Cato. His ballhandling skills and driving ability makes Iverson jealous. Cato's ability to nail the 3 is amazing in itself.
Actually when you see him practicing before the game you will be really suprised by Catos shooting range.
He just SUCKS!!! He has all the potential in the world but is content with the way he is now. That is why we don't like him. Plus the fact that he sits out for long periods of time with an injury. The high ankle sprain cost him 6 weeks. SOFT!!! That is what he is...

We're just gunshy...every time we start to believe in him, something happens to him and he disappears again. However, the grim reality is that something is wrong when someone with Cato's body is not desired by other teams. Cato!!! Please please please prove us wrong! Pretty please? Pretty please with a cherry on top? We'll even get Chance to write a song for you...all we ask is for you to throw your weight around, block some shots and grab rebounds. Houston will love you in no time.
If Cato were lazy, but talented, that would be one thing - because there is always the chance that he could snap out of it an give you some dominating games. If Cato were hard-working, but not talented that would be another thing - because then you know that he might not play well, but he's going to scrap and fight under the boards. But Cato is lazy and not talented, and thats not good at all.
