Even the late show top ten list is getting in on the act. Top Ten Topic was something like ways to save the economy Put some of that bailout money on the Ravens +3. It's a mortal lock. The ESPN special sportscenter when they broke down the game all they talked about was how the Ravens were going to beat the Titans. Everyone hates the Titans in this game. The only bright spot I saw was Chris Motensen picked the Titans. Of all the so-called experts he is the one I respect the most. He isn't dumb.
I'm actually rather excited to see this game. This game is going to physical, nasty and just flat out ugly. Bet whatever the under is and for fun: what's the over/under on how many players get knocked out of this game?
Because people who know nothing about football have never seen the Titans play and can only name one player on the team (V. Young). Because people who know a little about football are forgetting that the Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch will play and are healthier than they have been in a long time. Because ESPN and people who know football have man-crushes on Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.
It is also funny that they think Kerry Collins is a weakness. LOL. Kerry Collins, more often than not gets it done. He's a least as good as Steve Mcnair was in his best years and is certainly as good as any qb left in the playoffs. Collins doesn't throw the ball much because he doesn't have to and that is not what jeff fischer wants out of him.
the ravens are playing out of their mind right now and kerry collins is like freaking chum in the water to them
People dont remember how good the Titans is playing, the last real game they had was against the steelers on week 16, and they played awesome, in week 17 they played with bench players, and they didnt played last weekend.
The reason is because Titans play too conservatively on offense, in my opinion. They try to do just enough to have their defense get the win for them. Problem is, Ravens defense is better, and so is their offense. McClain and McGahee are running well, and Flacco has played as well as collins. Who knows really, but I suspect Ravens will win. I don't care for them, since Ray Lewis was involved in the murder case a while back and seemed to get away with something, but I seriously can't stand Bud Adams and have nothing but disdain for him and that team. (really now, you'd blame Lanier for that? Adams was a selfish baby and punished the whole city for his petty issues, plus left us footing the bill) Ravens by 10. That said, I think Jeff Fisher is a really good coach.
