You see when the other team scores more points than we do, we lose.
    Hope this helps...

    It's really quite simple...

    We suck...:p

Besides that, we have to make our ball into the basket and stop the other team from making a basket...

We have to make these...FT...stop doing this...TO...and give YAO the damn ball...;)

    * Because they only have about 4 offensive sets making them very predictable for defenders especially in transition where the Rockets just run to spots on the court without much of an effort to fastbreak (even though they are the 3rd best DReb team in the WC) or run a delayed break.

*Because the ball never gets inside the 3pt arc until there are less then 15 seconds on the shot clock often necessitating some Rocket going 1on1 and/or throwing up a "prayer" as the shot clock expires.

    * Because they are at the bottom of the NBA in assists per made FG due to the aforementioned lack of offensive sets and that the ones they do run don't emphasize ball and player movement.

    * Because they are poor at transition D and don't stop the penetrating offensive players before they can get to the basket in advance of the Rockets defense getting set.

    * Because they are poor on how to rotate defensively in a half court set when there is a double team. Their weakside help defense is usually late getting there.

    * Because they are not very good at defending (or running) the basic Pick and Roll.

    and last but not least...

    * Because the coaching staff is unable, unwilling or unknowing on how to correct the above.

    How's that for a rant? :D

you have a not smart head althou you have strong arm and leg you will still a loser in fight. this is the curent rox.

our coach just make his player hard to play and don't know how to do right things in right time. This is what I think. We need do something right now.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can using Caps be anoying?
The reason we are so poor this season, considering our potential talent is two fold.....(a) The team has a mixed identity.. Star Guards and a potential Star Center. Our direction is never defined. Have you ever noticed how disorganised the Rockets Game is, they seem to have very few plays and players doing their own thing.....(b) When they get it all together it lasts approx. one quarter, then the old ways kick in. The team plays like they dont realy like each other, there is almost a complete lack of team offence and defence. Most teams play the team Game and it shows us just how a well oiled team should play. Earlier this week in NJ. the Nets were an excelent example of the team Game. Jefferson in his second year on the Nets shows just how a player can develop, playing on a passing team. Eddie Griffin and Yao Ming have been stiffled for lack of involvement, due to a low level of passing. At times I see players that are not realy fit or withou enough stamina. This offseason training methods and diciplin need a serious re assessment. The Coaching has also been too passive this season and diciplin non existant. Next season I expect a rejuvinated Rudy T and a big upsurge with the new Arena.Everyone will be so proud next season after the Roster adjustments this offseason. IMHO .

The Rockets are not very talented. They have average talent at best. Half the teams in the NBA have more talent than the Rockets do.
