1. I will always wonder what would have happened had Yao been less of an interior presence and just avoided some of that grind and maybe not put on quite as much weight.

2. It seems like we are a virtual lock to make the playoffs and I would guess that 10 games is enough for him to get in rhythm.

 

Yeah, I would think batting him 8th or 9th with no pressure would be more productive than a rehab assignment.
