If a guy walks up to you and offer you a wonder drug that will give you after life in which you reunite with your family members and live happily ever after, you probably call the police and take him to prison or a mental institution, but guy down the street in a place called the church does the same thing, you happily believe him and give him 10% of you income, what am I missing here?

Seriously I can't stand these deluded losers come up to me and ask if I accept Jesus as my savior. Savior my ass, go somewhere and ....

Religion is mass delusion, get rid of it.

It's called freedom. You have the freedom to walk away and not believe that promise. You are no better than a person who believes in God or something greater than us.

Outlaw religion, that's something I definitely don't hear suggested everyday.

So freedom should be given to tell children IN SCHOOL that snakes talk, virgins give birth and we all owe our lives to some crazy incestuous family who had a big boat?

If they're deluded losers, why do they have enough pull to bother you?

In school? Never heard of that one.

Whats even crazier than talking snakes, virgins giving birth and a big family in a boat is that in school, they teach children we evolved from amoebas. Since we all came from amoebas, are we still not one big crazy incestuous family?

    hmmmmm

    omoebas or talking snakes
    omoebas or virgins giving birth
crazy incestuous family that evolved or a crazy incestuous family with a big boat?

Obviously you started this thread to get a significant response for what you percieve as an extremely inflammatory remark. Mission accomplished.

I do agree with you however. Ask someone if they believe a fat guy comes down the chimney and they will laugh. Ask them about a couple of people who were able to round up two of every healthy and opposite sex animals from all over the planet in a week and board them on a boat and they will look at you like you just killed their child.

Faith is great religion is a nightmare. Faith comes from hope and love. Religion from fear and oppression.

Obviously people are free to delude themselves as much as they want.

    Haha, it never fails! :D

As for Stonegate Archer, if he found Jesus, he wouldn't talk like that.

If it's a private school and that's the agreed upon curriculum... sure. Like I said, you are no better than people who believe in their respective religions. Elitists come in all forms and you are one of them.
