Last night I, I tuned into NBAtv and watched th Hornets come back to defeat the lakers, but it just seemed so entertaining. It's not like when the rockets are down by 10 all we do is trade baskets. I noticed when the lakers are down, they hit the big shots, and it comes so natural as if they have nothing to lose, and there is always someone who steps up next to kobe, as much as I hate the fact Kobe is so consistent, especially when playing against us, it's so amazing to see a player know his skill on the court, he can read so many plays and most of the time gets a decent shot. The lakers are way ahead of the league as far as developing a team that has a full effort mentality. Having a team with that type of skill can result in an abundance of good players, which is why the have so much depth. I wish the Rockets had this type of chemistry this early in the season. With McGrady playing the way he is and Yao putting up somewhat decent numbers, how far can this team really take us, will Tracy be in shape after the all star break. Looking at it with a more positive perspective, this does give our bench alot more time to develop without elite players (McGrady, Artest) on the court.
It's Hollywood, baby! The glitz and glamour added to the ambience of the Staples Center - all said in a Bill Walton impersonation.
I don't think this is true (well, maybe in comparison to our team). I see the lakers play down to their competition ALOT. They are just such a stacked team. Their games are always more interesting because at some point in the game they figure out they need to put together a run or they'll lose.
Hornets came back? They were in the lead for most of the game. And the answer to your question: Kobe Bean Bryant. The most electrifying man in sports
tracy just wont ever be the star he once was. we should all just accept the fact that our franchise is far from any type of playoff success. seriously, it might save you some hair. now IF morey can work some magic before it's too late we just might have a glimmer of hope. and that still depends on two ankles and the life line of aarons shooting slump.
Remember the 22 game win streak? There was the same feel. There's just certain zone/confidence a team have when they're rolling. At the same time, if they get in a funk they will continue to be in a funk for a bit (Boston and us). It's kind of like the stock market and economy....
