Is coming back this July! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/K2BNMuKaums" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Spoiler Not sure I like the new host doe.
Where have you been? Na... kidding. Yea, when I first heard this a couple of months ago I was stoked too. Love the show and none of the other improv shows they've done since have been anywhere as good. Hope they're not past their prime and can find that "it" they had back then, especially with a different host. Not that I'm a big Drew Carey fan, but he "fit" with the show and the cast real well. Ryan and Colin going back and forth is classic to me (no homo) <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/eDhamZOl5Po" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Damn I guess I'm behind... but I just found out now and super stoked despite them looking 20 years older and all.
LOL @ any and every YouTube video of Whose Line Is It Anyway titled: "Best scene ever in Whose Line Is It Anyway" or "FUNNIEST scene ever in Whose Line Is It Anyway"
Yeah that one scene where Collin was doing the "study" bit from the deleted scenes of 90210 and the host made a loud lulz, kinda ruined it a little. I assume they went with her to give it a shot of youth since everyone else got old. Female comedians just don't do it for me and is she even a comedian to begin with? Oh well, I'd take it over no WLIIA at all.
Ooooh, no wonder I recognized the name. The host is Lana from Archer. And she is a comedian. And I am so excite.
Absolutely love the show! The whole cast was gold but I often wonder if it wasn't rehearsed/staged, it was too darn funny to be live improv! Regardless I'm glad it's coming back! I need me a good old fashion "Hoedown".... ....... ....... .......
They actually do a lot of runs and let them improv. If you attend one of those shows you will see lots of takes with different subjects and they choose the best ones
They were probably trying to make it less of a sausage fest. But no one was going to be Drew anyway. The best episode will always be the Richard Simmons episode, and particularly the props game they did with him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGyKej_9c0g&t=11m35s Looking forward to seeing what they can do with it now.
Glad to see it coming back, and without Drew. I'm sorry but he absolutely sucks as a host. And when he jumped into the game at the end, it was awkwardly bad. The new host is at least a lot more fluid in her delivery.
Or could be that, since dropping all the weight, Drew isn't even the same goofy, semi-funny guy anymore. When they've done other improv shows the last few years on other networks, he's been terrible. Besides, back then, he only worked well on it because he was "one of the guys", BS'ing and cracking on one another... he was another round of jokes. Plus, sometimes him laughing hysterically on the side made the scene funnier for some strange reason.
