In continuation of the "comic book theme" and since I'm such a fanboy(comic book geek), who's your most, favoritest hero AND villain? Can you pick out one and ONLY one hero/villain fanboys & fangirls?!:D

    My picks:
HERO: Thor , God of Thunder, Odin's Son, Heir to the throne of Asgard! What kid wouldn't want to be him? Big, muscular dude, flying around with a bad-azz hammer that could knock down mountains, this guy gets ALL the goddesses and mortal chicks too! He IS the man(god)!

VILLAIN:Dr. Doom :son of a Gypsy-witch(who was banished to hell), face all scarred-up, wears the latest fashion in head-to-toe armory, yet smart as a whip to boot! And lest I forget, an egocentric, maniac just for good measure.....How can you not love this guy?!

Not my favorite by themselves, but as a pair I like the whole Spiderman vs. Venom thing.

Individually I like The Punisher as a hero... and The Riddler as a villian.

Now if I could only be a punishing riddler.;)

My favorite superhero is Spiderman. I used to watch the cartoon they had on Fox. I like him because he was a hero and a comedian. "Nos Ferotu? (Sp?) Isn't that the name of a German rock band?" Than line always makes me laugh.

As for villian. Uhh, I don't really have one. How about Carnage? He's pretty evil.

BTW does DBZ count? Spiderman would probably still be my favorite, but I like a couple of villians from that show like cell and buu.

Hero: Daredevil (hopefully Ben Affleck won't screw up the movie version)

Villain: The Joker (in the graphic novels, he's one evil dude)

Hero: Spider-Man. He's got the total package; awesome powers, great costumes, kick-ass villains, and those pesky human vulnerabilities that make a good hero. His genius sense of humor make slugfights a blast to read and his firm refusal to kill makes him a true hero.

Villain: Only one? This is too hard!!! ;)

But if I had to go with just one, it'd probably be Dr. Octopus. That manipulative b*stard's always got an ace up his sleeve(see: any Sinister Six story, or recent issues of Peter Parker: Spider-Man).

ESource: Love Dr. Doom too, great pick! That whole "diplomatic immunity" angle he has is awesome.

Hero - Spidey. I'll be a tad different and I say I enjoyed the Alien SpiderMan more than the red and blue.

Villain - Carnage. Easy. Coolest costume ever....Venom is 2nd tho.

Another reason to love Doom, from Onslaught: Marvel Universe...

ROGUE: And we trust you because..?
DOOM: Because I have no interest in betraying you simply to rule a planet of cinder and ash.

    Dude's consistent. ;)

ESource: Judging by your taste in villains, I'm going to go out on a limb- Fantastic Four fan? Did you ever read the story where Reed and Susan tried to get Doc Ock to save their child?

Gotta love the way Byrne drew She Hulk too... ;)

Hero: Wolverine as written as part of the X-men.

    Villain: Magneto.

I like the Mutant supremacy vs Non Mutant Supremacy saga. Both as evil as the other, but with the X-men caught in the middle.

    Outside the X-men cast...

Hero: Spider-Man...He's a good guy trying to do what's right despite the media (always) and law enforcement (sometimes). An obermench.

Villain: Kingpin...as often as his thugs gets pounded he's still on top of the crime world. Dr Doom may have superior intellect, but you can't beat the networking of the Kingpin. You may be able to take down a branch of his operation, but ten others will take its place.

Thanos Killed HALF THE POPULATION OF THE UNIVERSE!
Plus he is smart whereas Galactus just seems to have knowledge and power

    Thanos TAKES power.

For whatever reason, Wizard only lists a few Golden Age comics each month.

Their online price guide is a pay site, too.

It's probably worth a nice chunk of change though.

My all-time favorite would have to be Batman. I like super-heroes who don't have super-powers. He relies on quick wits, superior intellect, and cool gadgets. Green Arrow kinda fits in here as well.

One of my underated faves is Cable. Mutant powers and huge guns...hard to beat.

Used to read Magnus a while back before valiant went belly-up and thought that comic had excellent writing...writing good enough for me to read it every month...so I guess he used to be one of my faves.

Spawn used to be cool, haven't read it in a while though.

    Favorite Villains...

Always thought Catwoman was pretty cool...especially since she isn't always completely bad and walks a fine line between good and evil. A villain with a conscience...

I guess my all time favorite would be the Joker...he's bad just to be bad...he kills and steals and destroys just for the heck of it. Add some insanity with that, you've got one bad dude.

Other villains that are cool....Sabretooth, Juggernaught, and the Violator/Clown from Spawn...
