We all thought that our roster was already set but unfortunately Sura went down before training camp..Who do you think will be the next player or shall we say the "wildacrd" player to be signed to be his replacement? Lucious Harris (money is the problem) ? Ryan Bowen (we got a competition with the Heat)? or another player who's not yet mentioned to be on the Rockets radar?

Thought Sura was going to be ready by the start of the season.

I would not consider Best unless Lue or Ward are not healthy. The latter two are better defensive players and more disciplined.

If it all falls apart due to continued injury problems (Lue, Ward, Sura) or lack of effectiveness in the 1 spot by Ward or Sura (I am confident Lue will be OK for 20 some minutes) we can use the TE (up to 5 mil) before the trade dealine. I'd rather go with that or an unsigned young FA than either a Best or Mark Jackson.

I'd like to think he will be a better rebounder since he will have a passive role on offense which allows him to save his energy for the boards. He doesn't need to a fierce offensive rebounder, but he needs to a strong defensive rebounder. He needs to cut off 2nd chances for the other team after Yao or the perimeter defense forces a miss.

Howard will be the wildcard player. If he does well Yao and T-Mac will have an easier job.
If Boki exceeds expectations then we will be in great shape but I think that's not likely to happen.

Taylor will outplay Howard, he is a superior offensive player and they are nearly a wash on defense.

That being said Boki will be the wild card player.

Yao Ming is the wild card. If he plays to his potential, it doesn't matter who is on the the team besides T-mac and Yao.

sorry....I guess that my topic is a little bit confusing. What I meant is that who will be that wildcard player the Rockets are going to sign due to Sura's injury... :)

Da Wink, I have no idea who the Rockets will sign but I hope Harris will change his mind and sign up with us.
