Whats the oldest team ever in the NBA? As it stands now, the celts can put on 5 guys who are above 30 on the floor at the same time, Sam, Ray, Pierce, KG and PJ. While the spurs could put in, Damon, Bowen, Horry, Duncan and Thomas. The Rox a couple years back are the oldest team, with barry, mutombo, sura, ward and a couple others who are just plain old dinosaurs.
Wow. For some reason I thought Pierce was still 28-29. I guess I wasn't off by much but it seems there is a huge difference between 29 and 30. (I turn 30 in 12 days )
The 97-98 Rox started 4 guys age 33 or over (Dream, Drexler, Barkley, Elie) and brought guys like Willis (35), Eddie Johnson (38), and Charles Jones (40) off the bench. They had a grand total of 5 guys under 30, only 6 guys under 33.
