Who's one player you DON'T want the Rockets to go after?

For me, it has to be Bonzi Wells. Bonzi's one of the more talented swingmen in the league, and probably the strongest other than LeBron. He always plays hard, but he rarely plays smart, and his game and his attitude, in my opinion, just don't fit with this team.

He's best when isolated, especially in the low post. He probably won't get the oppurtunity to do that on this team. He's not a good 3pt shooter, and then there's the attitude... Bonzi's a jerk. Pure and simple. I don't know if I'd call him a headcase, but I definately wouldn't call him a good teammate. He's never been on a team that had good chemistry, and he's not known for being respectful towards his coaches. I think he'd be a trainwreck here.

Other guys I don't want are Sprewell, Kwame, and NVE. I've softened on Darius Miles; I really don't think he's a bad kid, just immature and in a bad environment. If he could learn to shoot halfway decently, he'd be better than Tayshaun Prince.

Who are guys that you wouldn't want on this team? If you want someone that I don't, what's your reasoning?

I don't want Ron Artest or Stromile Swift, though I've softened on Swift a little because so many here are very positive on him. I'd take Kwame at the right price, but he will command too much money being a free agent.

The rockets main problem was they were too old this year.. great team but too old. Made some mistakes by letting go of Andre Barrett and Mike Wilks. If you look at the stats ... Mike Wilks was amazing when he got minutes... he averaged similar statistics to Francis (with less rebounds) if you take the ratio.. and he was very quick.. Barrett was the same way except even a little more skilled the Wilks. Barrett I believe when Orlando got him scored two game winners in his first two games as part of the Magic.. we needa get some young people...

    I'd go with Tyson Chandler.

I needed a lot of help with that decision.

Ron Artest, Latrell Sprewell, Bonzi Wells, an overpaid Stromile Swift, Kobe Bryant. And a lot more.

Ditto. Just say not to Spreewell. His main concern is feeding his family and he was having troubles at over 10 million per season

The only one I definitely don't want to be in a Rox uniform is Latrell Sprewell and we all know why.

    Abdur-Rahim.

Fortunately, I don't think they will.

I don't want spree or bonzi. They're headcases that aren't worth the risk. Artest on the other hand is worth the risk. He has a relatively small contract and is reaching the prime of his career. He is also the best defender in the league and can score on anyone.

Jason Kidd - I know Jason would catapult us into contention in the short term, but we don't need him to do that.Plus, there is the potential of us getting hamstrung longterm by his contract due to age and injuries. And there are question marks already on the defensive end.Noone can doubt his playmaking and ability to run a team, but too much downside risk IMO...We don't need a quickie,we need a longterm relationship with a young, nubile specimen.
