Just wondering... I know this function has been available for a while, but I really never cared to use it...until now. I just put BTM on it. I don't think he's crazy or an idiot or anything, cause everyone is entitled to his own opinion...but his posts are pretty inconsiderate and mainly, they all say the same thing. The thread can be about a new movie or something and then BTM would chime in and write "Ming Sucks". It just messes up the flow of the thread. So instead of reading a whole paragraph saying "Ming Sucks", it will just say "BTM is on your ignore list" or something like that. I think this thread has been done, but that was probably a long time a go, and I think a thousand users maybe have registered since then.
Personally, I don't believe in the ignore list, and as a result, I have never put anyone on it. However, this guy named "LEWISLLOYD2" was so stupid and trollish that I had to put him on the list. Ignore lists are MADE for guys like that. He is the only one on mine.
I didn't even know how it worked till a couple of days ago. Shouldgetodom is, and probably will be the only, person on my list.
That damn Manny Ramirez is on mine. Seriously, I have yet to use the ignore feature. I think you have to see all the bad along with the good. that way you appreciate the good posts more.
I may not agree with a lot of people, but I don't have anyone on my ignore list. Though, come to think of it, some of those trolls like roydelton and Kobe8 are candidates.
I don't like using the ignore list, but a couple of months ago, two members made comments about wiping a whole race off the planet for the actions of a few. I thought that was uncalled for, even beyond trolling, and I don't read their posts anymore even though I think they might be regular non-troll posters.
Don't have one. No matter how much I may not like someone's post in another forum, there's always that time when someone is going through a tough time and chooses to let everyone know about it in the Hangout. I would feel terrible if I "ignored" that.

I don't use the ignore list to ignore someone's opinions. No matter how bad or stupid their opinion may be, you have to respect that. Now when people post stupid trash and just come on the board trying to start something, I use it. Currently, only ElGrandeQueso is on it.

I have not put anybody on my ignore list, nor do I want to. The only way I can see that happening is if somebody is consistently abusive, and that hasn't happened yet.

I haven't put anybody on the ignore list even though I've come close MANY times! Viewing crazy posts is like watching a car crash, watching someone self-destruct or do something stupid is just to hard to turn away from.
