Is there a player that's a most important piece in the puzzle or are we just such a balanced team? Is there a player on our team that is so important that if they got injured, we wouldn't be on our streak?

Do you mean who's the x-factor? Because T-Mac is clearly the most valuable player.

cause 18/8/53% is just too common these days, i can probably dig out some kid working in a bar in boston and have him avg that.

let's trade yao in a 3 way for eddie jones and darius miles, then we sign rodman and it's championship for the next 10 years.

That is a suprisingly good question. TMac is an obvious answer as pointed out by several posters. On the other hand you can't help but notice that we were losing before the trades (and we had TMac then).

It seems to me that things started to turn when Sura got in the lineup and had a few games to warm up. The Wesley and Barry trades could easily be pointed to as a catalyst.

Motumbo has been a dream (no pun intended) and lately Howard is looking great.

Yao Ming can not be overlooked. He has been playing very well lately and when we get into an offensive funk, usually TMac is missing those long jumpers that he often makes, it is Yao who becomes the go to guy. I will admit that it does not always work, but it does give us a focal point.

Well that is 6 players mentioned so far. When it is that many, you have to give it to the team as a whole. Usually that means the coach.

Yea!, you heard it here first JVG for MVP.

T-Mac of course has obviously been a nice addition to the team, and he is the most valuable, but Sura, Wesley and Barry have been an integral part of our recent success.

In terms of hustle and making things happen, I gotta give it to Sura. His dribble penetration adds a new dimension to this team when T-Mac and Yao are off.

    Bobby freaking Syrup! :D
This team without him could still be darn good. But it would make TMac and Yao have to step their games up even further. He takes a load off of everyone's shoulders with his near tripple doubles every game.

Tmac and Yao are the core but the 'difference makers' have clearly been Sura and Deke. For overall big difference maker I've have to vote for Sura. His high energy improves Tmac, Yao and the other guys.

There's really no question it's Tmac. He doesn't lead the league in minutes played by accident.
