Portland has a beeyotch of a schedule. No for them. As far as Utah and Denver, we play them both, so I have no favorite between them. I don't hate Utah now (unless we play them) because of AK47. I admire what Vandeweghe has done with Denver.
I put the Nugz because they have the tiebreakers over Por and UTH. If Portland doesn't make it, Mo Cheeks should go. It's a shame. For a couple of years he was able to put all the blame on Sheed and Bonzi for underachieving. Eventually he has to be exposed for the pathetic coach he is (nice guy, but terrible coach). See how Larry and Hubbie Browns have no problems getting the most out of Bonzi and Sheed. What about the talent that he got afterwards: Shareef, Theo, Darius Miles. Add them to Randolph, Stoudamire, Derek Anderson and Rubben Patterson, there is no excuse this team doesn't make the playoffs! And by the way, what about the trades that Portland made: getting rid of tainted "problem" kids like Bonzi, Sheed and McInnis, they get superb talent in return. D. Miles is starting to become the star everybody was expecting him to be, Theo is a shot-blocking monster and SAR is a patented 20-10 guy. Brilliant moves! Give credit to the executive that made those. Who, by the way, is the same man that Leslie Alexander fired to put the r****ded Carrol Dawson in charge, but that's another story...
I'm not gonna ask about tonight's game ( ), but if you guys could do what you do best and b**** slap the Jazz tomorrow, I'd appreciate it. You can hate the Nugs tonight, you can hate us Sunday, but come on, let us join together in our hatred for all things Utah and will the Rockets to victory tomorrow.

In last week's TSN, Cheeks was quoted as saying he's not a great coach yet. Maybe I can't help but root for him. The same article explained that they're nudging him out the door so they can replace him with Jim O'Brien. It is very possible that the Trailblazers will be back next year. They have played pretty solid, and you know Shareef Abdur-Rahim isn't gonna stay on that roster as a bench player getting 25 mpg. So they should move him out for someone decent. With Zach Randolph at the 4, they don't need SAR.

Rooting for the Jazz to make the playoffs! Watching their asses kicked in the first round is almost as enjoyable as the Rockets entering the second round this year. And that way the Jazzholes don't stand a chance to draft one of the top picks.
i hope the jazz get beaten so badly and dont make the playoffs that they cry like the little biotches they are. i hope the nuggets make it above them, i hope the jazz get some big stiff with their lottery pick, and i hope they never make the playoffs again. i dont care if theres no stockton and malone i hate the utah jazz, and i always will.
I think we'll have it down to two by the end of the night (Blazers play the Nuggets). If Denver loses tonight, I think they're done (they'd have to win the rest of their games and hope Utah loses one or more games to make it.) If Denver wins, Portland is gone and it comes down to the Jazz and Nuggets. Who has the better schedule? If both teams win tonight, they'll still be tied. Utah's next game is against the T-Wolves. The Nuggets' next game is against the Kings. Both can lose those games. It may come down to the final game(s). Utah plays the Suns at home, Denver plays the Spurs on the road. So really Utah has two games they should win (Rockets and Suns - because they're at home). Denver doesn't have any games they should win (they're all toss-ups).
I wish the Rockets had a one day rest between the Denver/Utah game. The Rocks battled Utah hard and might have won, but just ran out of gas at the end. As for the final spot in the playoffs, Portland is gone with Denver winning. I think that Denver will beat Sacramento. T-Wolves will beat the Jazz. But, if I'm the Jazz fans, I would be concerned about that Suns game. Phoenix is playing hard and well and has a lot of talent. They're not rolling over, and the coach will convince them to play the Jazz game like a playoff game just to give the guys some experience. The Suns game is a deathtrap waiting to happen. I'm going with Denver sneaking into the playoffs.
