I bought tickets to tomorrows Kings game (great deal @ rockets.com BTW 40$ lower bowl) and i was thinking. If it was not for Landrys return i would not have bought tickets tickets to this game. While i will be there to support my Rockets i really wanted to be there to give my standing O for Landry. I don't think i realized i how much i liked him as a player a personality. Who else is in the same boat i am?

O how is this for a sign....
WELCOME HOME LANDRY! THANKS FOR THE BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEETH!

(instead of tears, get it? yeah yeah) It sounds good in my head

I posted this at the tail end of another post ( I can't start threads  ) and I'm gonna paste it in here too, only because I really hope to get some traction on this idea.

    First time post here:

So the way I see it, here's what I'd hope the rest of the March schedule looks like for the Rockets:
    Wins: Sac, @ Min, @Det, @Was, NJ, @NY, @Chi, LAC, Was
Losses: Den, Mem, Bos, @OKC, LAL

We're chasing the Spurs for the 8th seed in the playoffs, so here's what I see the Spurs doing in March:
    Wins: @NOH, @Mem, NY, @Min, LAC, @Mia, GS, @NJ
    Losses: @Cle, @Orl, @Atl, @OKC, LAL, Cle, @Bos

So that would put the Rockets (proj 39-34) one game back of the Spurs (proj 42-31) headed into the 3/31 game in San Antonio (which would also clinch the tiebreaker for the Rockets if they win it).

So if the Rockets win in San Antonio on 3/31, they could very well be in the 8th seed headed into April. Isn't this exciting?

So I'm thinking of going to the game in San Antonio on 3/31. Is anyone else thinking of going? If so, would you want to buy a block of tickets and sit together? I CAN'T STAND SAN ANTONIO in general, the Spurs specifically, and expecially their no-good, run down dump of an arena called the AT&T Center. In fact, I don't even like AT&T just because their name is on the place. So sitting with Red Nation would definitely brighten the trip up for me, win or loss. I live in Austin so I'll go regardless, but figured this would be the place to get in touch with other Rockets fans that might want to make a road game this year.

So, is anyone else considering going to San Antonio on 3/31?

If I'd known a month ago that this was to be Landry's return to Houston as a King, I would've requested the day off from work! As it stands, I'll be watching the game in bits and pieces from the office. I hope he scores 40 for the first time in his career but we win big.

My Carl Landry jersey, the only jersey of any player from any sport I've ever owned, will be hanging in my closet, unworn. Just like Landry's actual Rockets jersey (what do they do with those?).

I was at Landry's last-ever home game as a Rocket last month. He had five points on 1-4 shooting, easily his worst game of the year.

If anyone wants my Landry jersey or my first-row season tickets behind the Rox bench for tomorrow night's game, send me a personal message and we'll work something out.

My bad. Can you not send private messages on this board? I'm looking around for that feature and can't find it. Definition of n00b, I guess.

Worked out perfectly cause I got free tickets. Giving him a standing ovation but feel strange because I will want Scoop the Ice-cream Man to double scoop all over his ass.

i really really wanna go, but im at school, while its only in Beaumont, I would have to go through a lot of stuff and be back in the morning.. Which would be worth it, if I had free tickets or something of that nature
