I give the top odds in this order..

Ravens (McNair has maybe 2 years left in him, and Boller stinkz)
Lions (Martz is in love with Kevin, and Kitna isn't long for the job either)
Packers (Favre has to be done after this year, and Rodgers has yet to impress)
    Vikings (Tavaris Jackson? really?)
Cowboys (Jerry Jones would love to sneak a scrappy North Texas kid onto his roster and Wade Phillips is a Cougar.. who knows)
Chiefs (Green is gone and Huard needs some competition)
Bears (Faith in the Rex/Griese/Orton show is shaken)

Unfortunately the Texans are out of the picture by picking up Matt Schaub.

    edit**

I totally had this posted as a poll but my browser wigged out on me :( mods plz delete

Atlanta now needs a backup and they have a few extra picks.

Kolb skipped weigh in yesterday to have breakfast with the Dolphins scouts. Also, the Patriots and Browns are interested as well.

Also, Kolb's first stops include the Ravens and Eagles. He'll be meeting with these teams next week.

Chronicle reported that Kolb had a good workout, but that Jackie Battle had the best work out at the UH pro day. He's moved his draft stock way up to possibly a first day pick, so they say. Not much else was mentioned about Kolb.

This forum is fine, he still technically plays for the University of Houston.

I just read Street&Smith's draft magazine and they say 4th round to Cleveland.

Is it me or does it seem like the Houston Chronicle is Kolb's agent? Is he paying them for this coverage? They keep saying he should go 1st round.

I know he played for UH and it's our local paper, but be realistic! They keep raving on and on about him, putting up tons of web clips, unlimited interviews, blogs, and don't critique him at all.

I think with the history of UH QB's, he'd be very lucky to go the 1st day. But nowhere near the 1st round! I think the Houston Chronicle might have him hold out for a better contract so they can get a bigger commision.

No, you misread, the positive coverage was on Jackie Battle. They said Kolb had a good workout, but that Battle had an oustanding one and that Battle may be a 1st day pick because of it.

I'm talking about all the other stuff they have on Kolb on their website. It's loaded with Kolb articles and videos galore.

    Its you.

He paid his dues on the field representing this city, if thats what you mean.

Believe it or not, some scouts and GMs think he's the best QB in the draft. Just about the only two things Kevin doesnt have that Russell and Quinn do have is a 6'6" frame and a HOF caliber coach pimping him.

Incorrect. They've talked ad nauseum about Kevin's room for improvement as well as his strong suits. They've given him the proper coverage that he deserves, the Chronicle is just its readers what they want, coverage of Houston's university.

Yeah, because Ware and Klingler took a picture with Kolb once. They probably ruined him for life. I mean, that was what, almost twenty year ago?? Please.

I think you might hold your tongue next time before making such stupid statements.

And this is a bad thing why?? the chronicle virtually ignored UH football from 2000-2006... making up for lost time i suppose.. like i said, poll after poll after poll shows that more chron readers care about the coogs than any other uni in tx..

I would be happy if the Cowboys picked up Kolb. But only with their 3rd rounder, and he probably will not be there.

If he is there in the 4th they should take him. I think the Texans would be foolish to draft Kolb in the 3rd since as we stand we only have a 1st and a 3rd and need help at reciever and in the secondary not to mention depth at ol and dl.
