Who'll be the "flavor of the week" this week?

Seems like every other week we have a player the fans pick out as the "flavor of the week", or the " new Rockets savior", aud
    nauseum.

We've gone through just about everyone on the roster, from Dream to Drew. This week it seems to be Moochie Norris, but he's already started to fizzle out, as I expected him to. We must have the most underachievers in the League (although you might get an argument from Clippers and Mavs fans).

Where's the heart, the desire, the "stuff"? (Or maybe even a mundane thing like talent?). I don't know what the Rockets' payroll number is, but it has to be about $30 million too much. Other than Steve (although he's been a little suspect lately), and possibly Cat (who's only making rookie bucks anyway), I can't see where any Rocket player justifies the mega-bucks Les is putting out.

Regardless of the fact that NBA players, in general (only my opinion) are vastly overpaid for the results they deliver, the agents, and the players who negotiated the CBA, must be laughing every payday. And it's not just the Rockets; it permeates every team in the NBA (and the arrogant and selfish attitude of many skilled b-ball players has enroached on college ball, and is starting to make its way into high schools).

I'm getting turned off my the NBA, and it's not just because the Rockets will be sitting home during the playoffs (although that surely is depressing). Some day, the game may be just a bunch of ex-high school kids (who'll probably be using Direct Deposit, 'cause they can't sign their names) playing in arenas for the very rich and for those in TV land who can afford pay-per-view. And greedy owners who'll switch franchises at the drop of a new arena and more money. Too bad.

what they need to do is make up new rules and start a new league where the players don't need as much athleticism and they all get paid the same , and you can psyche out the opposing team's shooters to make them miss their shots.
Yeah, that would be great. We could call it BASE-ketball, yeah , that would be the BOMB!

EVERY NBA player makes too much money for doing something they love and would be doing anyway. Sheesh.
