It dawned upon me that a great, great player -- possibly a legit MVP candidate -- will have to be left off the All-NBA 1st team this year. There are 6 players that all have a great case. I list them below, with their primary and secondary positions: Chris Paul - PG Kobe Bryant - SG / SF LeBron James - SF (and whatever else he wants to be) Dwyane Wade - SG / PG Dwight Howard - C Tim Duncan - C / PF It's hard to imagine Paul, Bryant, James, or Howard being left off the 1st team. That leaves Wade and Duncan on the bubble. They could keep Duncan as a 1st team forward, and have: Paul - Bryant - James - Duncan - Howard Or, they could put Wade at guard and slide Bryant over to forward, leaving Duncan for either 2nd team forward or center: Paul - Wade - Bryant - James - Howard How do you think it will shake out?
pg: aaron brooks sg: tmac sf: ron artest pf: luis scola C Yao nah probably paul, wade, lebron, tim duncan, Dwight
My All NBA 1st team... C - Dwight Howard PF - Kevin Garnett SF - Lebron James SG - Kobe Bryant PG - Chris Paul
I'll second this selection. Although I suspect that at year's end it will be: 1st team Paul Bryant Howard James Duncan
Eh no? I didn't choose "hybrids". Unlike some other 5's in this thread, these guys actually play these positions. Duncan isn't there because of that. Thus, Garnett. Who else?
all-nba team are who plays that position, 2 guards, 2 forwards and a center. Garnett is a b**** and severely overrated. Duncan WAY better than him right now, Amare is playing better not to mention quite a few other. Garnett should have a difficult time finding it on even the 3rd team
Well, since GMs have the sharpest eye for talent, the highest paid players must be the best players. PG - Stephon Marbury (21,937,500) SG - Allen Iverson (21,937,500) SF - Tracy McGrady (21,126,874) PF - Kevin Garnett (24,750,000) C - Jermaine O'Neil (21,352,500) Notable backups: Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neil, Steve Francis, and Tim Duncan) Best 3 teams: Knicks 97mil, Mavericks 92mil, Cavs 90mil Worst 3 teams: Grizzlies 52mil, Clippers 60mil, Bobcats 61mil http://hoopshype.com/salaries.htm
Oh, he's a "b****". Well, I knew that you were smart, but I didn't realize the degree until now. Amare? Are you sure? The guy doesn't play enough defense to warrant a spot as a FOUR on my all-nba team. Period. He appeals to kids though. As you refer to adult men as b****es, I'd guess you're about 15 or so and no doubt Amare appeals to you. I don't know a soul that would list Amare as the best power forward in the game. Either you're without a soul, or we've run across the missing link or something like that. Congrats.
Garrnett doesnt play enough offense to warrant him a spot. And how would you describe a 7 foot player who attempts to injure players under 6 feet on a consistant basis? b****y seems pretty accurate to me. And I didnt say Amare was the best, I said he was better than KG. Duncan is easily the best PF, no questions asked.
I wouldn't list Amare as the best but he's playing better than garnett. I mean at least he doesen't scream at little spanish pg's to make himself feel better.
