I think Andre Johnson would be a good addition to our offence but if Lions pass on Rogers take him.

I'm thinking they go with A. Johnson also. I'm not convinced that Rodgers is really that much better then him. Plus I read somewhere that Rodgers agent has a history of asking for huge contracts and his players holding-out. One think I wish the Texans would do is strongly consider Newman from K. State. I've heard him being mentioned as not only a shut-down corner but also one of the two best players in the entire draft.

Andre Johnson (or Rogers if a deal can be struck).

They should trade down and get another pick...It should be Rogers or trade down and pick up a Johnson, Jacobs or the best available athlete...

Any receiver is an improvement from last year...

Texans trade down. They are not satisfied with value for third pick.

They may still get Johnson and/or the Utah tackle.

    1) Charles Rogers, assuming a deal can be made.
    2) Trade down with Arizona (who'll take Leftwich) and grab Andre Johnson at #6 (while picking up another 3rd rounder).

Is the Rogers to Detroit as sure a deal as the Carr to Houston was last year?

Rogers, Suggs or Johnson in that order if I were picking. The best scenario IMO would be trade down, pick up anything of need (Almost Everything) and grab Johnson anyway.... Suggs I do not think will be picked because we're pretty set at LB (Foreman, Sharper, Wong, and Clemmons) and Suggs is no DE in the 3-4.....

If Cinci is looking to trade down for a QB I think they are looking somewhere below the third pick and may be talking to the same teams as the Texans. There really is no benefit to trading with us from their standpoint...

I'm not sure how far we could safely trade down and still get our man(Johnson) but I think doing that and maybe grabbing another pick or filling another need is the best option.

I would like to add that I do think we will end up with Johnson and even Johnson at 3 and I would not be displeased:)

Don't believe all the hype in those pre draft workouts. Suggs may have had a terrible workout but could be a pro bowl defensive player in a couple of years.

With the 3rd pick in the 2003 NFL draft, the Houston Texans select:

    Andre Johnson

Actually, I believe the opposite. Cincy can still get Palmer with the 3rd pick, assuming Detroit doesnt trade down. Why wouldnt they do the deal? They gain an extra pick or two and still end up with the guy theyve wanted all along.
