If the Jazz win tonight, we are closer to the 6 seed. If the Warriors win, our magic number is 1. Are you feeling optimistic or pessimistic? After 3 years out of the playoff, I'll have to cheer for GS. Besides, I don't think it matters that much who we play.

Go JAZZ! We might as well still gun for the 6 seed and make our decision on whether or not we want it during the last couple of games. Utah keeping LA out of the playoffs would be great as well.

tough call, but I think the 6th seed is very important as it is a statement for what this young team can achieve, therfore I'd be hoping Fazz win somehow.

warriors - just reduce the magic no is all matters to me.it'll be really good to see this team into playoffs regardless of whom we faced.

I really want the 7th seed now, so I voted GSW. Denver will destroy us in the playoffs. Perhaps so will SA, but at least we can try to run them down, hope that 1-2 of their key players get injured and get a surprise upset.

I hate the Jazz, but I want the Jazz to win. I want the Rockets be in control of the 6th seed.

I see no advantage to getting the 6th seed, our road would be much tougher to the WCF. If we finish 7th, we'd likely get a Spurs team that is currently banged up...if we were to finish 6th, and beat the Nuggets in the first round, we'd likely get a healthier Spurs team in the 2nd round (Ginobli will be back, and Parker should be healthier). A healthy Spurs team would destroy us.

why the heck would you want the 6 seed at this point? Let the warriors face denver in the first round- we've been destroyed every time we've played the nuggets.

I wouldn't really be thrilled to see Denver in the playoffs so it's basically a question of whether you hate the Lakers or Jazz more.

wait wait wait! 6th definitely sounds good, but didn't the Rockets just get blown out by Denver? AGAIN? Isn't the record 0-4 against them now?

Weren't the Rockets missing two key rotation players (including the best defender) and on the second night of a back to back?

Neither of those will apply in the playoffs.

I'm not sure we want to face Denver. Plus I hate the Jazz.

Go Warriors? Bah, dislike them too. Whatever. All I care about is the Rockets win whenever we play at this point. I just can't bring myself to root for the j*zz.
