    I like these two, however, I think a combination of Scola and Snyder would give the Rockets more to start the 1st and 3rd quarter. Yes, I realize Snyder isn't the highest IQ on the team especially when compared to Shane and Shane's shoots the wide open 3 better. However, he gets to the rim, plays almost equal D (Shane has been getting lit up like a Christmas Tree lately). Remember the day when Steve would pentrate and throw an alley opp to Cat or Yao. This could be Kirk. Kirk definitely matches up better with the more athletic teams (GS, Phoe, etc...).

    Scola vs. Hayes is a no brainer as long as Scola goes for his and stop looking to pass 3 ft from the rim. Finishes around the rim where chucks misses layups and frees throws (I know I'm stating the obvious)

    Choosing Snyder or Battier depends on matchups. However, Hayes is a great 12th man. That should be his spot in the rotation. Get Scola out there quick. I don't want to see T-Mc trying to get Hayes the ball ever again -- Hayes doesn't understand the dynamics of a basketball within a cylinder.

    why doesn't anyone ever consider starting bonzi, he kicks ass, he seems to always create matchup advantages in our favor, yet we rarely play him, put him in instead of battier

    god, this is like buy-1-get-1 sell that makes you buy something crappy with the stuff you really want, isnt it? you cant put scola into starting lineup w/o snyder? :mad: :mad: :mad:

    I bet you Doug Christie can make this struggling team much better. Doug is one of the engineers of the Kings offense. He does it on both ends of the floor.

    Start Bonzi and Scola, with Steve of course. Who thinks Steve and MJ were pissed yesterday about not playing? Or do you just think they were happy the team won?

    Chuck Hayes is at his best when on the court with Yao and T-mac. If you're not going to play him with Yao and McGrady, don't have him on the team.

    Hayes = All defense + Hustle
    Battier = Smart and unathletic

    Scola = Offense + Hustle
    Synder = Dumb and athletic

    Total different sets of players, so it very much depends on the matchups as well as decision on the floor!

    How about bringing in Scola and Battier on our first five and let Hayes coming off the bench.....and as for Snyder, i have no idea if i want him to play on this stage of this teams development.

    I think if we lose next game Rick should put all the starters on the bench for one game if just to make a point about effort and teamplay.

    I am glad we can have this discussion which means, but we wouldn't have won the Detroit game without Chuck's defense and rebounding. So please keep that in mind. I know he lacks on offense, but he plays killer D on most nights. But you can't go wrong with Scola. I am glad this year we can discuss solid players at the PF position. Thats a good problem!

    The Starters were the ones brining effort and teamplay. The guys off the bench did not bring either of these.

    Anyone who suggests less minutes for Chuck and Batteir would lead to more wins is delusional. When Adelman absolutely had to have a win, he plays these guys more minutes, not less.

    Chuck doesn't miss many layups. He certainly doesn't miss as many as Scola.
