I think that Morris Almond would fit this team fine, it could be the steal of the draft IMO

yup, morris would be a nice fit. b-roy light, but it will do. he has a lot of time under his belt and a pretty solid all around game.

i'd love for the rockets to try and get a 2nd rounder from somewhere. I think there will be a gem or 2 that could be had.

    1) Gabe Pruitt PG 21 years old; 6'4"; 170 lbs. USC, Junior[/QUOTE]
    2) Nick Fazekas PF/C 21 years old; 6'11"; 225 lbs. Nevada, Senior
    3) Rodney Stuckey PG/SG 21 years old; 6'4"; 205 lbs. Eastern Wash., Sophomore
    4) Jared Dudley SF/PF 21 years old; 6'7"; 210 lbs. Boston College, Senior

Following with what we need first; It seems like Pruitt is falling a bit, Fazekas is rising a bit, Stuckey seems like more of a combo guard (we don't need another Head at PG), I like Dudley but it would be a bit of a reach.

I don't know about any of the Euro players, so I don't comment on them.

I do not want the Rockets to pick a 2 or 3, unless we plan on trading some of the guys on our roster.

dudley is a good pick too. That guy made a ton of plays for BC. he isnt flashy but the guy has great all around game and is very smart.

theres a guy, herbert hill, who i think could be a 2nd round steal, as well.

The Rockets are staging 3 huge workouts in Orlando Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday along with 7 other teams. The players participating are Jason Smith, Sean Williams, Ante Tomic, Devon Hardin, Morris Almond, Wilson Chandler, Arron Afflalo, Kyrylo Fesenko, and Marcus Williams. All this is being reported this afternoon in ESPNs Chad Ford's Orlando Rumors page.

I would take Sean Williams and Jared Dudley any day of the week.

I would take Rudy but most likely he will be gone by the time we pick.

you might want to edit your post and post more info on each player,
    http://www.nbadraft.net/admincp/profiles/morrisalmond.html

this should be a sticky, like an official draft thread

I'd go with the feast or famine pick of Sean Williams. A talented big man is tough to pass up on so late in the draft.

Sean Williams is a SOLID player; would be a great pickup for PF at 26.

    But, he is a pothead.

I really like Gabe Pruitt. I know Rodney Stuckey is higher rated, but I haven't seen him play to have an opinion on him.

Sean Williams...best shotblocker in college basketball.

he would have been in the lottery if not for his offcourt issues.

no brainer if he drops that far.

I will take this chance to educate some people on the next Euro star.

    Marco Belinelli (age 21) 6-6 205

Positives: A long, tall guard who can put the ball in the basket. Phenomenal scorer with an excellent 3-point shot. Extremly high Basketball IQ, with excellent court vision and a handle that would allow him to play the point occasionally in the NBA. Great athlete with nice quickness.

Negatives: Needs to work on his body. He's thin and doesn't look like he's spent much time in the weight room. Defense needs improvment.
