    This is our current Roster

    50 Matt Bullard
    13 Kelvin Cato
    11 Bryce Drew*
    3 Steve Francis
9 Devin Gray ( ended at end of season)
    44 Tony Massenburg*
    2 Anthony Miller
    5 Cuttino Mobley
12 Moochie Norris (ended at end of season)
    34 Hakeem Olajuwon*
    6 Carlos Rogers
    21 Kenny Thomas
    42 Walt Williams

I know the general concensus around here is that both Cato and Drew are gonners but I would definetly say Drew first before Cato , but in order to move up in the Draft we may have no other choice but then what would we do for Center?

My Question is who are you willing to part with in order to move up in draft postition.? roster posted above .

i know a lotta people in here are packing Cato's bags for him...but i'm not so sure the Rockets brass are just yet. his contract alone make him difficult to move, but the Rocks have done amazing things and i would not be surprised if he is moved, i'm just not so sure its a lock that he's gone.

for the #3 pick and Swift,...i'd move damn near everyone i could including the ball-boy if they would take him. KT, Drew, T Mass, C Rodgers and Walt Williams. all are expendible for Swift except our core of Francis/Norris/Anderson/Mobley/Hakeem/Cato. i liked the ideas that brought Odom here at the three, but i don't know how realistic that is, i DON'T like the idea of the kandi-man coming here. what ever happen to Rony Seikly from Orlando that was traded to New Jersey and refused to show up at Utah. if he's a FA and not broken up with injuries what do you guys think of him helping us out???

Bryce Drew and Tony Massenberg and that's it.

I do not want Carlos Rogers to be on any type of expendable list because not only is he a great player but considering his past he is a great role-model and giver to the community. Also I am hoping Kelvin Cato and Walt Williams can find some consistency this season and I think they should be given a second chance and if they should be expendable, then in mid-season.

i couldn't agree more Big Dogzz. i too think Cato will step up next season and if not...he's out by the Feb. trade deadline. and don't get me wrong about Carlos and Walt, i think that are a great assets to the teams and community...i was just responding to the the proposed question of what would i give in exchange for the #3 pick and selection of Swift. i did not mean to imply that all players listed would be nessessary to pull the deal off. one or two players and maybe the trade exception or future draft selection or our #9 or whatever to get Swift. personnally i'd like to keep Carlos as a back up to Swift or to Walt or Odom if that fantasy ever had chance.

Its not really a fair question because 1 and 2 are completely different from 3 and 4. Also number 2 is completely different from number 1 for us unless it is completely clear that Mihm will be the first pick and we have the choice of Swift and Martin. Assuming we would be able to get my pick(Swift) at number 2 or obviously one I would give up most of the roster excluding Steve, Shandon, Cuttino, and Hakeem. If we could get away without giving up Bull or Rogers then I would be a happy man. For the 3 and 4 pick I really don't know. I would probably be willing to give up more than Drew and Massenburg for either the three or four pick. Shoot if we drafted somebody like Mihm at that position he would have more trade value.
