Of all the guards out there, who do you think would be a perfect match for Steve Francis?

My first choice would be Eddie Jones. I like Kobe a lot too, but I think Eddie is a much better defensive player and can do a lot of the things offensivly that Kobe can do. I really think we should go after him in the offseason when he is a free agent.

Why? We got Anderson plus we have mobley. I think we need to start thinking about the frontcourt.

Somebody that can stick an outside shot consistently. Hmmm... Alan Houston? I'd like a GP, but he's a PG (tee hee).

I agree Francis3, but this is just for fun.
I was like to put together the best team I can on the court. And I would most definetly start with Francis as the PG and I was just wondering who would go best with him ideally. I think athleticaly Latrell Sprewell would go good with Francis as well, but I wouldn't like him influencing Francis. Gary Payton is a good choice as well. Though that would give us a short backcourt.

Francis would be your choice out of all the PG's in the league? If you're just choosing a SG to match w/Francis, as was the original question... I'd go with Michael Dickerson [IMG]. Well, I'd actually go with Ray Allen, but a Dickerson-Francis backcourt would have been great.

Well, you'd pretty much have to go with a SG who wasn't offensive minded. This would allow Francis to get his shots and also allow for someone in the frontcourt to balance the scoring inside and out.

I'd go with Shandon Anderson or Eddie Jones.

I really like Sprewell, but he shoots more than I'd like for this team.

Ray Allen might be a good choice, but doesn't he disappear if he's not in the offensive flow?

    Kobe? No.

G.P.? I want Francis to develop his skills at PG.

I like Dickerson over Mobley right now, but not over Anderson. Dickerson doesn't have the ball-handling skills, or the defensive abilities, or the height of Anderson.

But, I agree with Francis3, we should be looking at help in the frontcourt. Especially since we already have Shandon.

Good Lord, a backcourt of Iverson and Francis... talk about a backfield in motion. Yeow. Your whole broadcast would be a bunch of blurs going by when the Rockets are on offense.

I would go with ME. I mean, just to have ME play with Francis would be such an honor for that youngster.

Yes, most assuradly I would be the best player to compliment Francis.
