No way in hell. Houston is a slightly above-average team at best; same with Jazz. We would get swept by the Suns, or at most take them to five games. Sorry, but we will have to build more depth and surround Yao/Mac with better quality of players if we want to make a serious run at this thing.
i need some of what you are smoking. i had such hopes earlier in the season, but out offense has been exposed. Maybe its time to change my sig
Definitely the Suns. My second pick would be the Warriors. Man, when I was watching the game last night I couldn't believe how fun the Warriors are to watch. The Suns are similar. I LOVE the Rockets, but DAMN we are frustrating to watch sometimes. That being said, I still pray every night we somehow reach the Finals.
Winning the WEST will reqire a team to batttle for three rounds. It looks like no team has true dominence. The Winner of the West might be worn out by the time it comes to the final. Regarding Houston, one game at a time, we will get a big indication from the 4th game to-night. Is our coach able to make the adjustment to get our outside shooters to score? Will the intensity of our players be boosted enough to be determined to want the game more than Utah. If not then we might have to go back to the drawing board!
Had to go with Phoenix in all honesty. The only way we make it to the Finals is if someone else takes out Phoenix. We can match up with the rest. JVG has yet to show he has no idea how to make any adjustments against Phoenix. Not to mention they have a complete healthy starting 5 this year with an actual bench who scores. We come up short on both those fronts.
I think Houston as well If they get their heads out their. . . . . .. but I think the NBA *really* wants Pheonix to win it so I beleive that is who will win it Rocket River
If Dallas goes down, which I think they will, Spurs WILL win the West. SA owns Phoenix. - nobody else left could hang with the Spurs in the WCF; too much experience, too close to number 4, too much Duncan.
There are Utah fans registered with clutch city. It's probably the jazzfans.com folks that voted for Utah.
