Who do you think will win GAME 7 tomorrow between the Pistons and Heats? Home team wins 82% of GAME 7. Shaq is 3-0 in GAME 7. Piston is the NBA CHAMPS. Wade is going to be playing HURTS (I doubt he'll sit out)
There's only one Heat... no Heats. I am hoping the Heat win the game and go on to beat the Spurs, but it's going to be tough with Wade playing hurt. I wanted Shaq to win a title so he could stuff it down Kobe's throat, but it's going to be tough. Even if the Heat get past the Pistons, they're going up against a machine in the Spurs.
I hope the Heat win, even if they dont beat the Spurs, just making it to the finals should send a loud message to Kobe about what hes missing out on.
I still think Duncan would have trouble against Detroit's frontline, so I'm rootin for Motown. Man I can't stand the spers.
Stern better pull all his strings for the Heat to win. The next TV deal won't look so good if they lose.
The Spurs will probably have a harder time against the Pistons because Rasheed can guard Duncan better than Shaq, Prince could shut down Manu and Billups will make Parker his b****. This game depends on Wade's availibility and ability, if he can play well the Heat will win, if he doesn't Shaq's 30-15 preformance will go to waste.
I've never been a fan of Shaq, and don't want him to get another ring, so I'm definitely rooting for Detroit. Miami's odds don't look so hot if Wade isn't 100%.
Anyone who likes/promotes/believes in team-play should root for the Pistons (after the Rockets are out of it). What better way to say you can still win without having one of the top 5 players in the league?
Pistons, I really think that the Pistons and Spurs are going to be a real good matchup. Not like the past years where they have been blowouts. I see this series going to 7 games.
If Wade plays 40 minutes and makes around 50% of his shots on his way to 30+ points then I would go with the Heat, but I'm not sure if he is going to be able to do that. I voted for Pistons on the thought that Rasheed Wallace would actually shows up. Rasheed has played poorly in Detroit's losses. Rip Hamilton has been their best and most consistent player and he needs to get the ball even more.
Wade will play, but probably not well. His injury affects shooting, dribbling, rebounding, passing, and moving. Otherwise, he should be just fine. Without Wade in top form, the Heat are toast. However, I do expect a huge effort from Shaq and the rest of the team, to no avail.
Close to game time. I'm thinking more and more that the Heat will win this one, Wade's rest is going to work in the Heat's favor and he'll have an outstanding game. Shaq who has been looking better and better will have his best game of the playoffs. The Pistons will play hard but lose a close one. Rasheed says both teams played hard over and over again in post game interviews. Larry Brown plays the blame game. DAMN.
one thing i like about game 7's is the reffing always seems to be really good. they don't call ticky tack stuff and take guys out of the game w/ foul trouble, but they don't let it become a brawl, and rarely is either team favored. even after the lakers/kings game 6 travesty, game 7 was extremely well reffed. and this game has been as well. they did just let wade get away with a blatant carry and then call prince for a foul on a clean block, but they called wade for an offensive foul so i guess it's even. if the pistons don't get stupid and let miami get open 3's, they should be able to win. but i've learned to be disappointed in game 7's. the pacers and blazers blowing huge leads to the bulls and lakers tell me the heat will probably come back no matter how bad it starts to look.
and mother****er the the heat get a miracle steal and 40 foot 3 right at the buzzer. please don't let it count and be the equivalent of brian shaw's lucky bank shot 3 at the end of the 3rd quarter against portland in game 7. seriously, what did i do in my previous life that things like this always seem to happen for the team i hate? i mean w/ 7.3 seconds the pistons could go up 10 or 11 and even after they throw it away, all that has to happen is the heat not hit a running 40 footer and they'll still be up 8, and yet somehow the flattest shot ever goes in and he gets it off about .1 before the clock went off. and great work on the replays tnt. one inconclusive piece of crap replay shown to us before the decision is made.
