The rockets match up well with the Blazers kinda like the 2008-2009 team did Blazers play uptempo which would suit them The warriors they also match up well with they are another jump shooting uptempo team Spurs - im not sure yet they have looked great against them this season age could be possibly catching up with them not to mention they went 7 games in the finals a quick paced team might not be what they want to see OKC don't match with them at all they have looked pathetic against them and that's without Westbrook so no to them Clippers 0-2 against them so far they have improved Defensively so no unless something changes the next 2 times they play they do not match up well against OKC
Man, we haven't even hit the ASG yet and some people want to call it a season. Yeah, these last two games were ugly, but cheer up guys and enjoy the ride. There's lots of time for this team to get it together and to make some noise in the post season!
Please ask your s/o to take away the sharp objects and lock the medicine cabinet. There is room to be realistic, but just throwing in the towel before all star break is unnecessary. KEEP HOPE ALIVE. You are thinking like its after Game 3 of last years playoffs. Start thinking like after game 5. Who knows what could happen. Stay Golden Pony Boy. Stay Golden.
we played well against the blazers, spurs and the warriors (Home and away). Maybe we can have a great playoff run. Let's wait to the trade deadline and see what we can get for asik first. maybe an addition of another star, can make us a legitimate contender. We are 29-17, we're not an easy much up for no one. have faith in the team
They are playing like a first round exit against any/all Western Conf playoff team. Very inconsistent. Still time to turn it around but not looking good.
LOL after Wednesday we were planning on how to get to the conference finals , now were automatically out in the first round Hahaha you guys are ridiculous. Get a grip, this season is barely half over.
i think we are really the top seed in the west. we just have not shown it yet, miami or pacers would get owned by this roster. bring back twill.
If we play the Clippers, we will get swept or be gentleman's swept. If we play the Thunder, I expect us to lose in 5 or 6. The other teams in the conference, I expect us to win.
Wow - the opinions posted on this thread are as wildly up and down/inconsistent as the team! I'll be boring and go for the middle ground - I think we make it to the 2nd rd by beating Portland.
Who they play depends on how they finish but if they meet OKC or Memphis in the first round they are in big trouble. I think they can hang with anybody else.
lol these forums are so pathetic after losses. Thats why i don't really bother to even visit here after a loss.
I agree with earlier poster that we can beat all the teams except Clips and Thunder. CP3 would dominate Lin or Bev and Griffin would be all over TJones. Also, Clips are much deeper overall. Thunder have our number and I don't think we will beat them unless we gain some identity on offense and have better defensive intensity. All the others teams we have shown capability to beat.
You seriously think the Rockets have a chance against teams like Miami, Indiana, OKC, and the Clippers given our offensive identity and coaching as it stands? Even after watching the golden years with Hakeem go down the toilet as it devolved into Stevie Franchise dribble-idiot-iso, I'm still a fan. But I'm not going to lie and say my team is a contender when they're not. The 1st round of the playoffs are a real uncertainty, sure given a favorable matchup/injuries on the other team. But we certainly aren't going to make it to the finals unless we implement a real system.
