Why would anyone else coach the Rockets next year?

Rudy T. does a wonderful job. We can't blame him if we don't make the play offs. Why would someone else coach the Rockets? I find this poll meaningless

the only way rudy will not be coaching the rox next year is if his cancer treatment doesn't go well & they need to do some more invasive/radical stuff to get rid of the cancer.

Health is the most important to us. Without health, wins mean nothing. I don't think Rudy should come back to Rox if the doctors couldn't cure his cancer.

    Is the question:
"Who will do you THINK will be coaching the Rockets next year?"
    or
"Who do you WANT to coach the Rockets next year?"

God forbid something more serious comes up with RudyT, then he'll be coaching...

Can you imagine the PR for making a coaching change after he gets better from recovering from his illness...

I've said it all year long...RudyT will coach until he feels he can't do it anymore, which will be a very long time...

Yao Ming will be the Rockets center.

Rudy is a question mark. Lets hope Rudy can make it back. But I see more fire from the Rockets with Larry Smith at the helm. Could it be that Rudy T is running out of gas? It may also be that the playoffs are around the corner and that is what is making the Rox play harder.

I have to agree here. My mom would be ideally suited as Coach of the Rockets next year. If Steve gives her any lip, shell take a switch to him like nobody's business. She'll have Cat sweeping the Compaq Center floors every day and she has a wicked right cross/slap that she could teach Yao. The only downfall is, she is only 5'1'' so alot of the players might wrench their backs listening to her during timeouts.

i have inside sources telling me who will be the coach, and apparently rudy is gone. carrol dawson has narrowed it down to two candidates.

    troybaros and osama bin laden.

don't belive me. i don't care. we'll see who's laughing when it actually happens.

oh, and we're trading yao for shandon anderson. dawson had a change of heart and decided we wanted him back. this team needs a shooting specialist like him.
