Well the season has coming to an end & once again the Knicks (highest paid team in the league) have finished at the bottom.

There is no doubt in my mind or any one else's that I. Thomas will get Axed as soon as the season ends (Thank GOD).

Anyways that leaves a coaching spot wide open...

First of all the team is in BAD position! They have a TONE of big contracts w/ players who are ether over paid or under achievers. They will need a coach who can re-build talent from the bottom up and/or someone who doesn’t take crap from any of his players. Someone who says its my way or the highway.

Why would anyone want the job? Well we all know it will pay good & its going to make the coach look pretty damn good too because there is no where to go but up!

Who I think will make it to the front office:

    -Jeff Van Gundy

    -Scott Skiles

Both are hard nosed coaches who can get the job done.

Who cares, they'll still suck. It's gonna be some years to reverse the damage done by Mr. Thomas.

How about local New Yorker Mario Elie? He can show those underachievers how to work. But no matter who takes control a massive roster change is in order.

That still dosn't change the fact that they need a good coach who can change the atmospher around the locker room.

You can't just throw a coach in there for 2 years & than bring in someone new. You have to have somone start from the bottom & work this team back up to where it used to be.

The names throwing around are Mark Jackson, Scott Skiles, and Rick Carlisle - anyone who has a relationship with Walsh before.

Bucks also have interest in Rick Carlisle. Rick Carlisle will be a hot commodity this off season. I like Rick.

But I think Walsh will hire Mark Jackson. Rumors had it last summer that Walsh really wanted Mark Jackson to be Pacers' coach.

The best coach available by far IMO is JVG. Could he have another stint with the Knicks?

Not too sure about Mark Jackson being a great choice, what did he do again to be so credible as a coach? I'd rather see the Rise of Gundy, or some coach that is proven. The last thing NY Knicks need is an inexperienced coach, in my opinion.

    It won't be JVG.

    I'd bet money on it.

That's for sure. James Dolan said JVG quitted on the Knicks.
