T-Mac was still recovering from surgery at the end of last season. He should be ready to play this season. Martin has never been an All-Star and has his own injury problems.
The better question will be who plays more games. Tmac does not even have a team right now, and I could very easily see that keeping for a short amount of time.
I think K-mart will put up bigger numbers - here's what T-mac is saying: http://www.theledger.com/article/20100710/NEWS/7105063?p=2&tc=pg
Sadly, I think a better a poll question would be Which will be higher this season? Kevin Martin's PPG McGrady's MPG
If he is saying that then tmac has grown. I think kmart is wildly overrated. He can score very well, but I don't think he does anything else really well. I hope he can improve his d to at the below average level.
Not even close. Martin will get over his injury prone past to become an allstar as he plays along side Yao. TMac will go to either the Heat or Lakers, won't get any minutes, and retire after next year.
He probably has enough in the tank to be a reserve for a contender. You can always use a guy who can come off the bench and mix things up - and former stars are good for that. 15 min isn't all that much. He'll get a chance somewhere - maybe Miami, L.A., Boston, or Phoenix - any place that doesn't start with an H or an O.
Will start for a non-contending team (Warriors, Wolves, etc.). Will come off the bench for a contending team (Heat, Lakers, even our Rockets).
If we can't sign our back up Point Guard then w eshould consider McGrady to play back up Point Guard ( Playmaker only)
