    lol I am actually in Qingdao right now. It is pretty bad in certain parts of the beach. but they cleared out some key tourist areas last week I think. Back in 2008 is worse. I heard from the locals that this happens every year in Qingdao. Something to do with the tides or some stuff along that kind of lines that pushes the algae towards the qingdao beaches. Its not that bad now. This started to happen like 3 weeks ago and they brought in soldiers to clear the **** out.

    oh yeah...considering its Yahoo 'news', the least they could do is spell the city name correctly :)

    Sometimes in different languages it's spelled differently. Maybe the pronunciation is right, but the spelling is different.

    I remember that, when I was little, I learned to spell Beijing as "Pekín" in Spanish. :cool:
