Listen Girls, I don't want the Mavs to be knocked off, so we can hand it to them for what they did to us a couple years ago. I want it in Cuban's face. I want Tmac to repeat what he did to Bradley on any of those fools, Dampier, Diop.. whomever..

I want Rockets vs Mavs !

You don't want the Warriors in because you don't want them to beat the Mavs? So you would rather them sweep the Clips in a boring series with not much (if any) history or drama behind it so the Rockets can get revenge on the Mavs!?

Nah man. Why not let Dallas deal with GSW, they obviously will give them more trouble than any other team (Clippers, to be exact) so they won't be as fresh for our second round matchup IF we get to the second round.

I want revenge too, but I'd rather not have them as fresh as can be...

Also, I really want to see the Warriors and the Mavs, Nelson vs. his old team, Mavs vs. a team they just can't match up with...

Don't trip so much, you make it sound like the Warriors are going to upset them. As much as I want Dallas to lose, I doubt they will let the Warriors defeat them in a 7 game series.

It's like the Rockets vs. the Hornets, the better team just can't matchup with the inferior team and often loses to them. Or Rockets vs. Timberwolves, that's another bad one. Can the better team find a way to beat a team they just can't matchup with? It will be embarrassing if this series even goes to 6/7 games, let alone being upset! I can't wait...

    Go Warriors!

then tell the little ponies to STFU about this Golden State bs..

the ponies are praying that Golden State upsets Dallas..

The 1995 team faced 4 teams with much better records. They went up against
Malone and Stockton, Chuck and KJ, Rodman and Robinson, Shaq and Penny

were Rocket fans back then a bunch of female reproductive organisms? Oh im scared we're playing Shaq! waaaa waaaaa

Give me Phoenix, Give me the Mavs. Give me the Spurs. I want THEM ALL!!

No I dont. I know they wont win. I am ticked you fools are wishing for BS 'EASY ROAD" for the Rockets.

    Maybe I'm old schooled.

But I'm proud of the Rocket fans who appreciates the Rockets being the underdog. I'm proud of Ralph and Dream beating Magic and Kareem.

Wasn't revenge sweet when we finally paid back Seattle for sweeping us?

I voted for facing the Mavs, I really want to play them again, to get revenge. I want to face the Mavs, I don't want the easy street either, I'm just really psyched about this Mavs/Warriors matchup. If you ask ANYONE, what they honestly think, or what they'd put $1000 on, they'd say the Mavs. You know it, I know it.

Maybe you should have worded the poll differently? I'm sure there are a lot of people who want revenge on the Mavericks, meaning they want to face them in round 2 (assuming we get that far) but also want to see the Warriors play Dallas. There are maybe some people who want Golden State to get in so they can beat Dallas, but I doubt there are very many of them on this board...

I want the Warriors to make the playoffs but NOT so they can beat Dallas.

You have to admit, that would be the most interesting first round match-up in the league behind the Rockets'...

i'm rooting for GS not because i think they'll knock the mavs off. the mavs will win that series in 5. i'm pulling for GS because i like nellie ball, it's a more intriguing storyline GS/DAL, and 1 extra game for the mavs to play will mean 1 more time they'll have to take the court (rather than finishing the clips in 4) before they face us. they've had rest for 2 weeks now...

No excuses. Give me the Mavs at 100% full strength.

    Dream/Ralph faced a 100% Laker squad.

Dream/ClutchCity faced a 100% Spurs team with the MVP and the best rebounder in the league

Dream/ClutchCity faced a 100% Knick team who played dirty D.

No - Oh they got lucky Seattle got upset
No - Oh Jordan wasnt there

    No

No excuses for Mav fans. No excuses for NBA historians/analysts/critics/haters

    NONE

I don't know if you started this poll because of what I wrote in the other thread, so if you didn't my response in the other thread, here it is:

I don't know who you are directing the comment to, but for myself, I want GS to make it because it would be more entertaining than Clippers vs Dallas. NOT EVEN FOR 1 SEC, did I wish for GS to win because that might mean an easier 2nd round match-up. It's simply because I enjoy watching any good/competitive/intense basketball games, rather than a team getting destroyed 4 times in a row on national TV.

Of course, I want ROX to play Dallas in 2nd round, beating them would make the victory that much sweeter. Like some people put asterisks on the 94-95 championships, beating Dal would erase all doubts in peoples' mind, and that is EXACTLY what I wish for.

I'm trying to follow your argument with the posts you're quoting, and they don't seem to make sense. Are you quoting the wrong posts? Or are you just arguing for the sake of arguing.

I want Warriors/Mavs because it'll be a more entertaining series. Mavs could play 100 games in a row and still be 100%. Same with the Suns. I do enjoy watching other series, it has nothing to do with "being a true rockets fan"

Sure, Dallas could sweep the Clippers in 4, what fun would that be? Dallas may still sweep the Warriors, but I doubt they'll go down without at least making the Mavs sweat.

Would you rather give them a first round bye, to make sure they're 100% against Houston?

From a matchup/story standpoint, Mavs/Warriors is the best choice.

With that said. Go Warriors/Hornets tomorrow

I was just telling some dudes EXACTLY the same thing the last game. NOTHING would be sweeter than knocking off the Mavs. NOTHING.

They might beat us, it might go 7 games, ...whatever. But if we managed to freaking beat the Mavs, NOTHING WOULD BE FREAKING SWEETER!!!

...but take care of biz first w/ the Jazzholes.

i want revenge, but not against the mavs. i want REVENGE against the jazzholes - its been 10 years coming - THIS IS OUR DESTINY!!!

a series victory over the j*zz will be so much more fulfilling than against the mavs. in the mavs series we were up 2-0 - it was our series to loose and we blew it.

the jazz won on a last second, lucky 3 an illegal pick and charles' slow butt - it was our DESTINY to face the bulls in the finals - the ULTIMATE 90's matchup - all homerism aside, i honestly believe we could have taken the bulls that year - it was our destiny and utah stole it from us - as i said, this series is 10 years in the making and im pumped. GGGGRRRRRR!!!!!

    DEATH TO THE JAZZ!

    REMEMBER 1997!

    REMEMBER THE DREAM!
