Does anyone believe that with all this talk the rockets will not make any trades at all. The deadline is 16 days away and all these rumors are old. Someone do something already.

There will be at least one trade involving the Rockets. Mark it down. Even if it is just a move to get under the luxury tax. There will be at least one trade.

This. Not expecting anything huge or major to go down but at least one trade will be made.

There will a move for sure, 100%. May be small only... I am actually expecting a big one.

The reason I think that is the position we are in:

    -Expiring contrats
    -Trade Exception
-So called "assets" - young ones to veterans
-Less crowd at rockets game = a hungry owner/gm.

The rockets are not really known for some reason to make big trades. The last few that were supposed to be big trade in the past 20 years have not worked at so well with the exception of Drexler. We got barkley and that was bust. We got pippen that was bust out of his prime though. We got mcgrady, he did ok, but bust.

So in reality the Rockets are not really known to do too many big name trades so why expect anything different this year.

Morey's stated in interviews that you don't get a team's best offer until the deadline. I doubt we'll make a major trade just because so many conditions have to be right for one to go down, but I'd be shocked if we made no moves at all.

Please note that I called my shot back in August:

Again, only if nothing big happens. I think some variation of this trade makes the most sense as a deadline deal to get below the luxury tax threshold.

A trade will definitely be made. The Rockets need to get rid of AB and they will.

I don't think a big one will be made, though. As much as I would love to get someone like Nene or Granger, I just don't think it will happen.

I actually think the Rockets ARE known to make big trades. Just because the trade doesn't work out, doesn't mean it is for lack of making moves. Like you said, Drexler, Barkley, Pippen, Francis, McGrady, Artest, Martin. These are all big trades in my book.

in a way i hope theres no trade so all those threads and countless posts and arguements go straight to the abyss for nothing...where i will laugh...what a waste of time to talk trades. Glad i had no part of it.

BUT. Aaron brooks is NOT a rocket, always felt he was a different type...and i don't want him on the team....get the ***** out of here AB.

I think there will be a trade will happen, but it will be insignificant.
