I'm not too sure because I don't/didn't follow NCAA Basketball, but in the RMR on ESPN they had a little interview with him and he said that he is going to be an All-Star, he has a big ego from what I know.

i've been talking this guy up on nbatalk.com for a while now ... i've seen him in summer league and he impressed me. his game reminds me of spreewells ... this guy can score of the dribble. another post suggest he couldn't shoot the long range shot in college ... ?, well with his attitude and work ethic he well be putting down the threes with regularity in no time. they list him at 6'6" .. he played the 3spot in college but will move to the 2guard in the nba. if the knicks lose either latrell or allen to aquire a big man .. they got a guy who will definitley fill the shoes. look for postell to become a very successful player in the nba.

lavor played at st johns with erick barkley and was a pretty good player. he has impressed in practices and preseason games but won't get a whole lot of time during the regular season. He is already signed with the knicks and the rockets do not need him anyways

He is a byproduct of the worlds largets media. If any thing is good in New York you will hear about it. If it has a pulse you will hear about it. I have seen him play twice in college so I won't comment on whether I think he will be good or not, since two games don't make a career. However it just seems like New York has all the best players every year when you look in the magazines doesn't it? Thats a direct result of the media market they have their.

And why are the Knicks making such a big deal about a second round draft pick. Every so often I click on a team report for the Knicks and Lavor's name pops up. The reports usually state that the Knicks want to play him but can't and maybe they could trade him so he can get some playing time elsewhere. Is this guy that good. Could the Rockets use him at all at the 3? I hear that he is a good defensive player. I don't know, I'm just sick of hearing his name, and I don't know anything about him.

scarface, i have to disagree with yop here. the NY media does hepl a player het some attention, but not at the collage level. in the NCAA you have to earn respect. in the NY area it was all about barkley. hell nobody knew speedy claxton till the tournament. i live in Ny and see alot of games. ive seen postel play several times over his careen at St Johns. i like his game. it may not be for houston, but it is good. he is definately better NBA than Barkley. he was always in barklys shadows till he got into NCAA legal trouble.

i know he is good, and has NBA game, but he is not a rocket. he is actually alot like spree.

Great comment. I don't know too many people that typify your statement more or better than Felipe Lopez.
