If we still had Bonzi, I'm pretty sure you'd be missing somebody else right now. Coz we'd have Aaron Brooks starting at PG, and Luther Freaking Head backing him up. I shudder to just think about it.

The level of intelligence of this board drops to a new low.

I am depressed, not because of the loss.

Yes we don't miss Yao, but Bonzi yes, I think he would shoot FT a lot better and make more layups, and sure he can run a little bit the Point, why not. And his defense will make a big difference now.

What should we still need on earth? The spirit? or the third all star?

What should we still need on earth? The spirit? or the third all star?

This year, we have RA,we have 22 straight win, we have three good rookies.

We have many experiments in doing many situation.

But we still ....still need something or some body ?

The spirit? the lucky ? or the third all star?

    look forward that....

Personally I would take Bonzi and my chances with James. Just cross your fingers and hopes James makes some threes. The situation is dire. Have to roll those dice.

Don't forget what Bonzi started to do right before he left. Attacked the basket. Impact defense (not great defense, impact defense, steals), better shot selection, better FT shooting, better finishing around the basket, and much better passing. Physicality. Need it.

And he was getting less minutes. To bad Landry is not healthy as well as Yao and Rafer.

Actually, I believe even Mike James would do much better than Head.

You comparing Yao Ming, an all nba player, to Bonzi Wells who quit on the team last year?

Yao single handily kept us in many games last year against the Jazz. Remember game 1 when Tmac scored 1 pt in the first half and every other member of the Rockets was scared? Yao keep fighting and keeping us in the game.

we miss yao's offense, but we don't necessarily miss his defense. boozer has been a non-factor the first 2 games.

Yao is one of the best paint defender in this league! He defended most C (e.g., Duncan, Howard) very well. In addition, he is a big threat to any palyer who wants to drive to the basket.

Boozer is a mismatch for him!

Boozer was 10/20, 20pts and 16 rbs in Game 1, and 6/12, 13pts and 7rbs (because of foul trouble) in Game2.

I don't think he did worse than last year. Actually he had a very bad Game 1 last year.

Don't forget with Yao in the game Okur is trash on offense because he uses up all his energy on defense. Okur doesn't have the legs to make all those jumpers. Plus Boozer played poorly in several games last year. Game 1 for example when he scored 11 pts on (4-17 FGA)

Simply, with Yao, we were 2-0 last year; without Yao, we were 0-2 right now!

Of course, if Yao was healthy this season, we would be the no.1 seed and needn't play the Jazz at all.
