Who do you guys think should start at SG?

    Wafer or TMac?

To me, I think you have to go with what works and start Wafer until Tmac gets through whatever it is he is going through.

Wafer just makes the team better with his "Attack at all costs" style.

Whom do you guys think should be starting?

Of course I choose Wafer, but I also say this because I dont think tmac and yao work well together yao needs to be surrounded by shooters and well tmac is not a shooter

I've no hesitation to choose Wafer.

At this point T-Mac should of come off the bench to spark the rockets with the 2nd unit.

umm guys, wafer is the new hot thing, Tmac is slowly deteriorating
But in the famous words of Steve Francis concerning Bobby Jackson, Wafer is not worthy of holding TMacs jockstraps.

Lol on the funny side, we all know how TMac's mental status is, starting Von over me might push him off the edge. Can you picture an over the edge TMac in the locker room, yeah, think about it

Tracy should start. He's a rhythm player, totally unsuited to a role off the bench.

Why not start wafer and put tracy at the 3 and put shane on the bench?

I think TMac will have another chance to start, along side with Yao, if he messes up again, I do not even think he will be part of the rotations.

That is not an option, you can take your Shane poll elsewhere....and for the record, that would be the worst set of defensive wings in NBA history.

Yea i love wafer but he has no D, and tmac cant keep up with anyone, but we would have a nice defensive bench

You were stressing yesterday how our defense isn't cutting it, right?

What you're suggesting will make us a worse defensive team.

The way I see it is that Wafer and Tmac are about equally inept at defense but Wafer can get better.

And on offense Wafer is much more efficient.

So to me, it is Wafer.

U think it can get worse? It seems like you're in offens mode when you and i know this team is struggling defensively this year more than anything. Scolandry gives it up like Rev ike and the church funds. Tracy is giving it up. Shane is giving it up. Rafer is giving it up. This team is bad enough defensively to lose to scrub teams.

Stop derailing my thread, this is not about that subject, feel free to post your own thread.

This is about whom would be the best starting SG for the Rockets....you set your own criteria.

To me, Wafer is the better player right now on both ends of the floor...marginally more of defense and much better on offense.

I dont think its cutting because of a variety of reasons. I can say right now wafer is the best wing offensively we have right now as far as scoring. I like the way he attacks and i wish the rockets had more guys like him. When he started, the team scored more, but we gave up alot of points also. So the consistent thing this team has done is defend.

Start McGrady, he's too much of a prima donna to handle coming off the bench. But restrict his minutes in a big way. Don't hesitate to stay with Wafer if Wafer's doing well and McGrady starts to gum things up.

4th quarter is what matters, and we had the wrong guy out there last night.

    See em,

I don't care about his feelings anymore, if he is going to sulk, he can get splinters in his butt......

If he wants to play, he has to bring it.....move on...the team plays better without him when he is sulking.

When he plays hard, and well, extend his minutes....

For once in his life....make him EARN those minutes.....stop coddling him.....kick him in the arse instead.
