Which visiting team do you think will play the Baltimore Ravens in the first game of next season?

I kinda hope it's the Texans. But I can see Broncos, Bears, Packers, Pats, Steelers, Vikings, or Lions.

EDIT: I take that back, since I don't know which teams play at M&T other than the Texans.

    Why does it matter?

The most obvious choice is the Steelers but I like to see the Texans play the first game of the season. Patriots and Packers are marketable choices for TV ratings.

Home games vs Green Bay and Minnesota from the NFC north. New York and New England from the east. And first place south team, Houston.

    I like New England.

Watching Ravens or (hopefully) the Pats go 0-1 would be an excellent way to open the 2013 season. I hate Chris Collingsworth calling Texans games anyways.

It'll be the Patriots. AFC Championship Game rematch, plus people love watching the Patriots (and Belichick) lose.

Based on the last four seasons, whoever plays the Eagles during the Eagles home opener should feel very lucky.

For the fourth year in a row the team that played against the Eagles in Philadelphia's home opener won the Super Bowl. (NO, GB, NYG, BAL)

Hopefully they'll schedule the Texans first against the Eagles in 2018, if the streak stays alive.

Don't underestimate the Jets, it'd be a marque matchup while saving Patriots or Texans vs the Ravens for a MNF or SNF game later in the season.

Steelers. They have the largest following of any of those teams and it's a division rivalry.

There's speculation that Steelers, Pats and Texans are teams being considered for Ravens' prime-time opener to kick off season.

Does this Ed Reed deal perhaps put the Texans in that prime-time opener now?

I think it gives them a real shot yes.

What would be awesome is if we get the game and then the Oriole situation doesn't resolve. Ravens play on the road at Houston!

So, it is going to be Denver?

I would think so. The only other team I can think of that may get it would be Pittsburgh. But considering what happened in the divisional round last year, it'll probably be Denver.
