    i was just about to start a Wimbledon thread about her. I really dont watch women's tennis at all, but she surely has my attention. I cant get enough of her. Hope she wins.

    Unlike Kournikova, Sharapova is a really good tennis player and only 18. I don't care for the tall, skinny blonde women, frankly, but I do enjoy watching her play tennis. She is fiery and plays hard.

    Right now, though, I'm praying for the Roddick/Federer final. Oh, man, that would be sweet.

    What ppl always forget is that Kournikova was a really good tennis player. In fact, world class. But relatives to her peers she was just average. No one ever gives her credit for that.

    Not only that, but it was because of Kournikova that all the russian tennis players came into being, people forget that too. She is single handedly reposible for tennis in Russia.
